Das waren noch Zeiten, mein erster Rechner! 13 Jahre ist der Prospekt nun wohl schon alt. Damals hat Hardware noch so richtig was gekostet!

This nearly 10 year old Windows 95 era Hauppauge PCI TV Tuner used DirectShow and PCI push to put television on your desktop computer. The real beauty was that it could also decode Intel's ISDN (~128k) speed data delivery within the brodcast's extra VBI lines. ABC had an Intercast tag in the programming guide in the fall of 2005. Is it back?

When clearing out my old flat I found the original Netscape Navigator (Version 2) that I used when I first got online back in 1996.
November 20 will mark the 20 anniversary of the release of Windows 1.0. Ten years ago, Windows 95 was released. Has it really been that long ago?
These things were cool. They have an architecture designed to run two different CPUs. This one is packing an ARM 710 and a 486. This meant I could run native RISC OS 3 with Windows95 in a virtual machine.
Seems totally pedestrian now, but back in the day it was way ahead of its time.
