Over the New Year Holiday I was sitting in my usual spot on my couch due to my non weight bearing foot surgery when what to my wondering eye should appear but a beautiful sunset worth a cheer! I took a shot of the image far away but needed to get closer by scooter way! The next images are the bottom of the sunset, the bright oranges, then the top half with blues and pinks. So beautiful I went up and down, down and up,never able to get all in one shot. While was cleaning the bedroom floor with the shoes on the window, i found that they were asking for a click.

Looking into the Chapter House entrance from the Quire you are presented with this view of this stained glass window and warmly coloured stonework.
Lichfield Cathedral is situated in Lichfield, Staffordshire, England. It is the only medieval English cathedral with three spires.
And then.... "where are you're socks?"
...and a few people.... "why are you wearing so much clothing....?"

So, I had mind enough to take my camera and tripod out to the apt today while I was cleaning, I got in 5 shots and then realized the settings were WAY fucking wrong, fixed em, and the battery died.
bye bye sunshine.
I'm not being funny, the sun literally went down. :P
So....here we have a very grainy, gritty goodbye to my favoritest window ever.
I've cried so much recently it's entirely possibly some of those tears were also for this window.
fuck.
I've never been so mentally tired in my life.
Physically...oddly enough...I'm all kinds of awake. Hm. I must have ran up and down a flight of stairs at least 80 times. Honestly? I kinda feel good.
My brain hurts.
My heart hurts.
My world hurts.
It's life....and I feel like I'm breaking inside. But it's ok.
Meanwhile...hell. Worst beginning to a 365 EVER! Right? I got in two days and all fell to shit....!
Well. At least I'm here. I can't give up...it'll happen. I just can't promise I'll be lookin all fantastical or anything, apparently.
Cos...here's me...all unshowered, sweaty, tired, and thinking.... "Damn, I still gotta scrub that bathroom right off there to the left...."

...and just cos I'm feeling sappy....here is what I'm listening to tonight.
"The Mallard Cottage, an 18th Century Irish-Newfoundland vernacular style cottage, is recognized as a National Historic Site of Canada, as being one of the oldest wooden buildings in North America." I was attracted by the window reflection.
It was a cold winter night when we arrived, but of course, immediately we had to throw open the window and admire the view of the Castle Square in Warsaw.
Do you ever get really stressed editing a photo because it works really well edited in multiple different styles and you can't decide which one to use? As you may have guessed, I do! I suppose you can say I do have "signature" actions and techniques I turn to, but I think I'd get bored very quickly if I stuck to my defaults all the time. Warm colors, cold colors, no colors...high contrast, low contrast...textures, no textures...sometimes a photo picks its style immediately for me, sometimes I run through a ton of options before settling, like with this one (I edited two others from the same set in different styles). The struggle is real! #photoshopproblems
The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) occupies a converted factory building complex occupying 13-acres in North Adams, Massachusetts. It is one of the largest centers for contemporary visual art in the United States. The complex was originally built by the Arnold Print Works, which operated on the site from 1860 to 1942. MASS MoCA opened in 1999 with 19 galleries and 100,000 sq ft (9,300 m2) of exhibition space. It is large enough to put on exhibitions in individual buildings for extended periods - a Sol Lewitt building has five stories full of work conceived by him (and executed by others) on display until 2033; another building contains three large-scale installations by Anself Keifer on display until 2028.
The Boiler Room is one of the buidlings and when I was there it contained an installation of audio art. And old boiler room stuff that was highly photogenic.
