Another mansion on Lake Adair in my hood. WIndows, windows, windows everywhere!
Silly old woman here edited this shot again. I like having the "Replace" option in the new Flickr photo editing option. This one is better ... called "Old Postcard" ... and suits this vintage mansion better me thinks!
Moved up front on my photostream for this 2022 HWW!

I found this old window up in Mom's attic a few years ago. It had been stored up there since back in the 60's when we first moved into the old house and Dad did some remodeling. Over fifty years of dust and grime collected on the panes. I brought two of these windows to my house, and I've never cleaned them because I like the "look" it gives the photos that I use them in. The lantern is also old, and once belonged to Mom's brother.
In the Parlor Car "Chief" on the Grand Canyon Railway; a map of Grand Canyon National Park, a railroad branded newspaper, and a railroad branded napkin have been handed out to passengers. Here, these items are seen underneath one of the large windows, allowing patrons to admire the vast expanse of the western Colorado Plateau in class as the train heads north towards Grand Canyon National Park.
