I wonder if I am the only one who stops on the stair landing- totally engulfed by the light in this window? It's been photographed on so many different occasions and still it is a magical window for me. Fun to share it with my house guests today.

I found a big window again (after 2 years) at the supermarket yesterday. I've been getting irritated at only having small ones in houses. Although I do have the shop windows I could use - if I'd only remembered.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)
People wait at Bahrain International Airport for their flights, sitting around respective departure gates, looking out large windows at airplanes as they land and take off. There is something serene about watching these large objects gracefully lower from or rise up into the blue skies overhead.
A thought of Dr Gianluca Grimalda’s recent story comes to mind, as I stand hypnotised by these moments of weightlessness.
