Dolomiti - Il lago Limides

Lying in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains in a region of incomparable beauty, Wilderness is an attractive holiday resort with beautiful beaches and numerous vantage points from which to watch the whales and dolphins.

Taken in Iceland I thought I would create the perfect get away from Civilization. Two image's from the same place, but we move the cabin into a different spot has the views were much better.

The mountain range in the background contains the volcano Seljahjallagi.

Visitors to Glennallen Alaska will probably be surprised to see a Subway Sandwich shop, carved out of the wilderness, in the very center of town. Since 99.9% of visitors arrive in the summer - I thought I'd show everyone what it looks like on a sub-zero day in the middle of winter. You've got to climb through the snow to get to your favorite sandwich.

Valle delle messi. Come dicevo un paio di foto indietro, il fondovalle è molto frequentato, in particolare da bipedi umani. La parte alta è più selvaggia e frequentata da quadrupedi; qui abbiamo incontrato caprioli e marmotte.

When I lived in Illinois, I yearned for two things, wilderness and wildlife. It took me until I was 39 years old to finally move to Alaska where I could find both. This is a valley that my wife and I found. We were the only two there, besides our dog. It was a quiet day, very little breeze.

When we are in the wilderness, the troubles of the world seem so far away. We often wish we could live in a place where we were the only people for hundreds of miles. Wilderness takes the pains of sickness and washes them away, takes the mental stress of life and clears the mind.

My wife has license plate covers that say: "Seek the Wilderness," and that is what we do, when we can.

Intentional camera movement - A path near the Franklin River, west coast of Tasmania.

Second in my landscapes from the archives. This shot of a mix of rock spires, golden aspens, still green aspens and conifers was taken 12 years ago in the West Elk Wilderness near Stormy Pass in Colorado.

The Tottenham Marshes are located at Tottenham in the London Borough of Haringey. The marshes cover over 100 acres (0.40 km2) and became part of the Lee Valley Park in 1972.

The marsh is made up of three main areas: Clendish Marsh, Wild Marsh West and Wild Marsh East. The latter two are separated by the River Lea.

The marshes are one of the last remaining examples of semi-natural wetland in Greater London. They contain a variety of plant communities typical of a former flood plain location, such as a range of neutral grassland types, sedge marsh, reed swamp, sallow scrub and areas of tall herb vegetation. Associated with this diversity of habitat are several species of plant and insect which are rarely seen in London.

Small tributary of the Bow River in Banff

Alberta, Canada

I traveled far and wide through many

different times

What did you see there?

I saw all knowledge destroyed

I traveled far and wide to prisons

of the cross

What did you see there?

The power and glory of sin

What did you see there?

The blood of Christ on their skins

I traveled far and wide through many

different times

I traveled far and wide where

unknown martyrs died

I saw the one-sided trials

What did you see there?

I saw the tears as they cried

They had tears in their eyes!

Many people go into the wilderness to experience it, and if they experience it in comfort, there's very little in a literary sense for them to write about.
