This is my second tribute (here's the first) to one of my all-time favorite TV series - "Once Upon a Time", a story about a modern city where everyone actually is a fairytale character, with a lot of twists, cliffhangers, magic and drama. I hope to build eventually all of my favorite characters from OUAT as the minifigures, but this project will take much time so stay tuned.

SPOILER ALERT!

This is a tribute to Zelena, the Wicked Witch of the West (also known as Kelly West in Storybrooke). When I watched seasons 1-4 back in 2014, for a long time I disliked her - she was trying to kill my other favorite characters, and I don't mean just Emma (every villain is after the Savior, after all), no, I was extremely pissed off because she made Rumplestiltskin her pawn (poor Belle! poor Neal!), and she was trying to destroy the happiness of her sister Regina/the Evil Queen. But in later seasons, which I finally watched this year, Zelena become more sympathetic and complicated character, and as long as she started to be good to Regina, I immediately started rooting for her to become the next redeemed villainess. I was so happy when they finally become the real sisters to each other and also made peace with their mother (who was another villainess), it was an wholesome moment, one of the highlights of the season.

Also when she was evil I was creeped out by her attempts to seduce Robin Hood, and hated her when she finally succeded, and I was not a fan of this plot of "Wicked Witch wants a baby", so initially I disliked the baby as well, but then it turned out other evil forces are coming for that baby, and good characters were still mad at Zelena for what she did, so I was worried for them. Luckily, the later seasons included some time-lapse, so the next time we'll see baby Robin she's a late teenager, and she's cool! Totally not a wasted character! :)

For the character tributes I decided to pick a few (best) songs from the episode, where in the past the wish upon a star accidentally made everyone in the Enchanted forest to sing (and it was both hilarious and epic). Zelena's song is something really worth to listen - she sings about watching the sufferings of her sister, but she sings it SO HAPILLY, like it's a Broadway-type song of wanting to go at the prom or something like that. xD Also she scared the hell out of Munchkins during this one (without even interrupting her happy singing!), and it was HILARIOUS!

Also, for context, she meant that Rumplestiltskin was going to teach her as his best apprentice, but he chose Regina instead (despite the fact that Zelena is actually more powerful), and her mother also made Regina, the younger daughter, the heir, and not an abandoned older daughter Zelena. No wonder poor Zelena was feeling so alone the whole life and taking such great length to be loved... But as I said, it turned out well in the end, she was finally happy with her sister and her daughter Robin. :)

I wasn't going to do this one this week but then ran across this lovely woman.

Wickeds Creek, Hall County, Georgia. A westbank affluent of the Chattahoochee River, named for a Cherokee family of Wickeds. Variations in spelling have been WICKET and WICKETT. A Cherokee man John Wicked born 1807.

Wicked storm clouds form with rain to make this bizarre image come to life. This is looking west towards Mono Jim Peak along Highway 395 in California. This is a simple three image HDR. That alone brought the clouds out, not much tweaking beyond that.

Unedited puddle reflection of Amsterdam. Taken with a Sony HX200V. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)

Lately I've been shooting more and more pictures that are not wicked reflections, and that can be rather satisfying, but I always keep an eye out for wet patches in the mean streets of the best city in the world, there is nothing else, photography-wise, that makes my heart jump with joy in my manly chest like a proper puddle picture. I don't know why that is, and it seems that there is nothing I can do about it, so please don't judge me for spending considerable amounts of my spare time hunched over the residue of the regular rain that our lovely little country is so famous for, instead of furthering the cause of mankind, I just can't help it, I'm addicted! I sure hope there'll be an organization or some support group to overcome this handicap one day, so that I can become a valuable member of society as well and spend my time and money on acquiring material possessions instead of the creation of stoopid puddle pictures, lol :D

Wurlitzer Jukebox - "Juke" was a Gullah word for wicked, rowdy or disorderly. It was used to refer to rowdy establishments known as "Juke Joints". By association, the Wurlitzer became the "Jukebox".

They were and still are manufactured by Gibson Guitar Corp who also makes the world famous Gibson guitar. This Jukebox looks like the Model 700 made in 1940. 9,489 of them were made.
