It is important to me to let my family know the significant things that happened to me and to them in the future. That is why I am a storyteller. I am communicating to the present, the past and the future people. I capture the moment through photography, I design for artistic release and I journal to remember things that I know I will forget soon. I know my family will thank me for documenting the life that I have right now. Stories is such an important part of our lives, to remember the wonderful things God has created for us. To put in our hearts the happy, sad and important thoughts. And to remember that we are created to live, love and laugh. ~Diane

Rabbit's a speedy runner! Will he be the first to cross the finish line?! Taber, our third grade author, writes an ending you might not expect! He submitted his book, "Why Turtles Have Shells," when he was in third grade at Ravenswood Elementary.
I secretly love watching people at the subway station as they navigate their day, their routines, and their struggles. If you stop and perch yourself in just the right spot—the kind of place that photographers like me seek—you can hear the rumble of the subway below your feet as it arrives, releasing its collection of walking stories.
There comes a quiet moment, then a rush of people pushing through turnstiles and doors, some moving slowly, others quickly, while a few try to save you with their religious virtues, like misguided tourists adrift in an indifferent sea of the washed and unsaved. They can't understand why people say "no" to their unwrinkled pamphlets, spouting some kind of dogma.
It's like watching a beautiful dance when you can observe the world from above—paths crossing in a hurried mess. A few are aware that they are being noticed, and it leaves me wondering who they are. Do they really care if someone takes a snapshot of their lives in that fleeting moment? Or is this just my ego reflecting back at me. I think am interrupting their peaceful invisibility and the loneliness that envelops those moving from one place to another on their way home to their messy rooms and dirty dishes, like a personal snow globe with a Wi-Fi connection?
