A pub in Islington which is home to the Angel Comedy Club.
Here we see Whoopi Goldberg and Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean. Neither of whom have performed here, I assume. Murals by street artist Zabou.
I know this is not a good photo for so very many reasons, but I like how I unintentionally caught someone leaving this restaurant the moment I realized I wanted to take a photo of this sculpture, and so I turned around and snapped it. Even the person's arm and hand seem to mimic the sculpture's a bit. By the way, the name of this restaurant is "Big Kitchen". Apparently, Whoopi Goldberg worked there when she was a youngin.
On a different note, I am so scared for the world right now at the hands of a dictator that has no moral compass. Although I generally have the news on the radio when I'm home, it has been causing too much distress and I am trying to limit myself to only once or twice a day. Life is surreal. That anyone can get away with what he's doing is abominable.

Whoopi Goldberg (born Caryn Elaine Johnson; November 13, 1955) is an American actress, comedienne, and television host.
She is one of only thirteen people who have won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony Award, including Daytime Emmy Awards. In 1990, she became the second African American female performer after Hattie McDaniel to win an Academy Award for acting. She has won two Golden Globe Awards and two Saturn Awards for her performances in Star Trek Generations and Ghost.

In this 1/87 diorama, you see Erwin, a metal worker standing in front of his employer's company and putting steel pipes in the right position on the small van Opel Blitz from 1956 to secure them.
You probably know Peggy March's song “I Will Follow Him”. That is also the motto of Erwin; he wants to follow the example of Jesus Christ. Jesus showed us how to live on earth according to God's will. If we obeyed God's commandments, living together here on earth would be much more pleasant and just. Whoever follows Jesus will pass in the final judgment and receive entry to the eternal kingdom of heaven.

My wife and I recently saw a taping of "The View" in Manhattan. It was very interesting to see how these talk shows are filmed and we had such a good time that we are looking into getting tickets for some other shows filmed here in New York.
The guest in the background is Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter, Katherine. She is an author who came to promote her latest book. After the show, copies of her book were given out to the audience. I was kind of expecting the book to be signed by her, but no such luck.
The Rialto theater in Pasadena was the theater used for the 1997 movie "Scream 2". This theater has been used for many movies as a location including the movie The Player.
