Your support is always very much appreciated! 😊

Sometimes life is not like flowers and sunsets,

it is also rugged and that is exactly what makes the difference.

We really need to learn...

Most of the buildings at Changdeokgung Palace are often not the real centuries old ones, but rather restorations than were painstaking built to its historical dimensions over the last few decades. No matter what, it is a marvel to see and a testament to the works of those whoi helped in the restoration.

Although their primordial sounds had been covered by this light,

only daybreak is actually one of the key habits for those trying to simplify their lives...

Sea Urchins belong to the phylum Echinodermata--the same group as sea stars, sand dollars, sea lilies and sea cucumbers. Their outer skeleton--called a test--is made up of ten fused plates that encircle the the sea urchin like the slices of an orange. Great place to catch the sun in Paradise.

I've stopped using my car and every week I take the train to go to work... The French title ("Les voyages en train") is an hommage to Christine Lebrasseur and her last photo work, see: www.flickriver.com/photos/_lc/sets/72157604254032668/.

One thing that albatrosses are very good at is dynamic soaring. They are so good at getting lift from the wind and wind that comes off the ocean swells that, on average, they use less energy flying than swimming on the ocean's surface. They also follow a distinct pattern when foraging, a sort of 3-D 'S'. They come down low after completing a big curve, swoop down to catch the wind off the waves and rise up to do another big curve. This is repeated over and over and over. Here is a link that describes it: www.whoi.edu/multimedia/albatross-flight-dynamics/.

My image was taken while at sea, with the albatross flying close to the boat as it followed its flight pattern. It passed by about 10 times and then went off in a different direction to continue foraging. BTW, this species of albatross will occasionally sit on the water whereas other species tend to do it less often.

Eccomi qui :)

Buon 2008 a tutti :)

Usare il tempo per guardare e vedere, sentire e riflettere, emozionarsi e per rimanere incantati davanti... al mondo.

Ecco cosa ho fatto ultimamente.

Concept: It is said that it's contagious, but don't generalize it. The type of laugh that hides corrupted emotions and envious inclinations is definitely not "viral".

Strobist info: Too much modified to enroll for a full-fledged Speedlite conf. I was just playing with PS and came up with this mess. Hope you like it, 'cause I'm not really that fond of the outcome;)

7° Festival Internazionale del Testro di Strada

Questo è Loco Brusca, un artista argentino davvero fortissimo

Concept: Man came to present the Death of God, but that wasn't enough, was it (oh, you wish)? Man itself chose to evict his own superiority further and learnt to subjugate to the control of metaphisics totally: killing himself and his affirmative power (and not knowing he made no steps at all).

Background: I was working on this old image of mine (shot last year in december) and trying to recreate a control technique, death penalty punishment, of the not-so-old Modern times when I realized that by adding an element of metaphisics (in the last instance Morals (or language)) would explicate what really matters: weakness of humanity.

Manipulation info: Old shot layered in itself, slightly cloned, "roughed" with textures and conceptualized with silhouettes of those little, well, you know what.

They are generally not the same people.

Now they will enter in an another impossible dream…

Like stars not on the sky that have been getting smaller and lighter

incorporating all the immediate ground.

(Just them, sometimes we haven´t no directions of latitude and longitude on the earth..)
