A Monsoon thunderstorm begins to cross over the Mustang Mountains in Southern AZ.

The Elephant Whispers experience near Hazyview in South Africa, allows visitors to touch, exchange trunk greetings and offer tasty treats to tame and trained elephants ranging in age from nine to twenty six years.

This pachyderm was putty in my skilled hands (as you may well imagine). Her skin was so soft to the touch, I felt very privileged to share a a fleeting moment with her.

Late afternoon sunshine,at the Wetlands Nature Reserve, walking along the walkway over the marshlands,between the tall golden grasses blowing in breeze.What the image doesn't convey is the noise of the rustling and whispering of those grasses,as you head towards the lighthouse.
