Not a great photo because of the harsh/contrasty sunlight, but we enjoyed watching that not-quite-long-enough pink tongue. . . taken at a wildlife preserve in central Wisconsin.

Yellow Rock is bounded by Lower Hackberry Canyon to the north, the Paria River to the south, and both Cottonwood Canyon and the jagged Coxcomb to the east. It is colored, ridged, swirled and contoured in whimsical ways that invite exploration. Grand Staircase of the Escalante National Monument.
Take a walk on Yellow Rock with one of the higher resolutions.
