When the former Isar weir in Ismaning was demolished (converted to artificial river rapids), many rocks were left for a more "natural" appearance.

When I wanted to photograph the strawberry moon, I saw on the other side a completely different spectacle. A beautiful sunset with beautiful colors. Finally I was able to try out my new ND filter. I love this bridge :D

When we lived in Washington, one of my favorite places to go was the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park, located in Eatonville, Washington. They always had a large assortment of animals, but my favorite was always the raccoon. They were always so photogenic, ready to sit up and pose for a picture!

I took this photo for the Happy Caturday theme "Sleepy Cats". Getting a photo for this theme wasn't as easy as it seems. Yes, cats sleep a lot, but they are suddenly wide awake if you point a camera at them. :)

Jokulsarlon glacier bay with its glacial ice floes glowing in the light of the rising sun.
Photographers at the edge of Godafoss waterfall in Central-North Iceland. It is not just the scale and beauty of this waterfall but its entire environment, the amazing river canyon formed from columnar basalt, the surrounding mountains and the sheer scale that make you feel elated and dizzy. I shot this scenario for I liked the different perspective offered.

A significant proportion of the country’s agricultural exports are derived from the sale of freshly cut flowers, bulbs and mature plants, and the Netherlands contributions to the flower industry are so significant that they make up around two-thirds of the world’s total flora sales and completely dominate the European marketplace. Thanks to highly efficient supply chains, it is actually possible to buy flowers in New York which were freshly cut in the Netherlands that morning!
