Hāpuawhenua Viaduct - Built 1908.
The completion of the new Hāpuawhenua Viaduct in 1987 saw the old viaduct fall temporarily into disuse until it was repurposed as the site of the world’s first commercial bungy jumping operation. It then stood redundant for some 20 years until it was restored and re-opened as an extension of the Ohakune Old Coach Road walking and cycling track in 2009.

If you wish to read about more of the events at the festival I can share a link to a notorious Toronto Blog below,

The second location of the morning on our trip to the North East was Chemical Beach and the famous wheels. These can only be seen at low tide and arriving just before low tide we thought we had timed it perfectly, however, although the wheels were exposed there was no water around them. We decided to wait for the tide to turn, which was a good decision as they look so much better in the water. It did delay us though and we had to cull some of the planned locations.

Moreover, each stand had four bronze wheels and axles of bronze, and at the four corners were supports for a basin. The supports were cast with wreaths at the side of each.
This flatcar, owned by Progress Rail Services, is specially designed to carry railcar wheels. It was built in July 1981, likely as a standard bulkhead flat, but has since been converted to MOW service. It's seen here on a BNSF train heading for UP's Englewood Yard in Houston.
