The landing mats made me think of Ukraine, as I was setting up for Toddlers this morning. It was a hectic session - not because there were lots of people , but because several of the children were more energetic and accident-prone than usual, resulting in more tiredness and crying. It was still great to see everyone, and to have time to chat with people too, but was pretty exhausting!

It's Down Syndrome Awareness Day, so some of our families were wearing odd socks. (Each year, Down Syndrome International invites everyone across the world to wear odd socks to support World Down Syndrome Day. The date is the 21st day of the 3rd month to signify the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down Syndrome.)

After lunch, Mike & I went to Chippenham, to visit the widow of an old friend of Mike. He's helping her sell off her late husband's recording equipment, so we had a bit more to collect today. Then we went on to Melksham, so I could visit my sister. We managed a WhatsApp video call to our youngest sister too, so that was good. Then it was back to Quenington to do the injection for the lady in the village.

A quiet evening followed, as I was pretty wiped out!
