"WHAT MATTERS MOST"

It's not how long we held each other's hand

What matters is how well we loved each other

It's not how far we traveled on our way of what we found to say

It's not the spring you see but all the shades of green

It's not how long I held you in my arms

What matters is how sweet the years together

It's not how many summer times we had to give to fall

The early morning smiles we tearfully recall

What matters most is that we loved at all

It's not how many summer times we had to give to fall

The early morning smiles we tearfully recall

What matters most is that we loved at all

What matters most is that we loved at all

.

But technically this only adds up to one slice, so it's okay.

Goal: To teach the newly defined mission statement & values of the church

Audience: All - church (teaching series)

Direction: Title "What Matters Most", simple, clean

Project: Series brand

Other important info: After undergoing a major overhaul on our value statements - we're launching into a series on the new (much better defined) value statements. Each week we'll dive into cause/effect statements (ie: We believe God the faithful father, in His justice and mercy, desires a loving relationship with all. Therefore, we will Love God and all people with justice and mercy)

I'm trying to find something

I'm musing today on gratitude over at Mortal Muses. I'd love to hear what you think.

i'm not sure if i will last the month before my parents make a trip down with the rest of my stuff, my ghetto fab chair is not the most comfortable thing ever. i might have to break down and get some ikea furnishings to tide me over.

Overland Park, Kan. — Bushnell Outdoor Products, an industry-leader in high performance sports optics for more than 60 years, has announced a music download donation partnership with country music star and award-winning TV host Craig Morgan to benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation. A 10-year veteran of the U.S. Army, Morgan has written and dedicated a new song titled “What Matters Most” to the heroes Folds of Honor supports.

The track, a tribute to the millions of service men and women who defend America’s freedom, parallels the stories of so many who have lost loved ones on the field of battle. All proceeds from the donation download offer are donated to Folds of Honor, supporting its mission to provide scholarships to the children and spouses of disabled or fallen soldiers.

“This song is inspired by and dedicated to the millions of spouses and children who put their lives on hold while their loved ones risk everything to defend our freedom,” said country music star and former Army veteran Craig Morgan. “Each download will help Folds of Honor support the families of our courageous military heroes,” added Morgan.

Bushnell, a Folds of Honor corporate partner and sponsor of Craig Morgan All-Access Outdoors, will donate the first 10,000 song downloads. Once the song has been downloaded 10,000 times, it will be available for $1, or consumers can donate $5, $25, $50 or $100 to Folds of Honor through the “What Matters Most” download platform.
