A really amazing sunset on Sunday evening at Penclawdd with ever changing light so I took way too many shots -as usual! This is my submission for the Crazy Tuesday theme of weather. A couple taking photos on a mobile phone.
Sorry to post and run will catch up with everyone tonight but I am off to Cardiff to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition today - sure to be blown away by the amazing photography!

Because of the dry weather, wildfires in the Gironde region of southern France have spread to over 10,000 hectares. 14,000 people had been evacuated from their homes.
In my little village, 47 hectares burned. We had to evacuate a campsite and housed people in our party hall.

I was so glad to be able to pick up a rainy day shot for this theme. After a string of about 3 weeks going over 100 degrees it was nice to drop down into the 70s and rain for three days.
Rain at last! Been raining on and off for the last several days in the mountains and we have been enjoying every minute! Much needed for California's drought.
CHIPPIE came and asked me if he could spent his day off at my pont in the sun, he brought his own drink!

On Sunday there was a gentle breeze which made the muggy heat here at the Rhine Plain at least a bit more bearable ...

Am Sonntag wehte ein laues Lüftchen, das die schwüle Hitze hier in der Rheinebene zumindest ein bisschen erträglicher machte.
That day was super hot... at its end there were some fires on the hills and some clouds due to the water evaporation.
A living nightmare for the nature.

Whatever The Weather.
Here is our Vermont weather stick which helps to predict the weather with changes in barometric pressure. When pressure is rising, which indicates good weather, the stick will rise toward the sky. When pressure is falling, indicating bad weather, the stick will point toward the ground.
... extremes with hail and thunder are not rare these days, always advised to follow the current official weather warnings. Here, the sky has not decided yet whether it will be sunny or not - you either need a parasol or a big umbrella☔

Or alternatively in my own little bubble! Nothing really planned for today, which meant it’s been an opportunity to get some weeding done and also to take some photos. Had hoped it would open up but it’s becoming more overcast if anything.
