“Bestiary and other Works”

L’autoritratto a servizio di un progetto digitale.

L’artista presta il suo corpo per la creazione di un nuovo bestiario mutante,

e la masquerade non finisce qui…

VLADIMIR STANKOVIC (The Russian)

“Vampires and Fairy Tales”

SERGIO PANCALDI

“selfpoRtAiTS”

Pancaldi esplora l'autoritratto attraversando i luoghi di una topografia underground, in una serie di scatti che presenta le sfumature del sè deliberatamente sospese tra "What are you?" e "Who are you?"

MONO BAR presents:

“We Were Werewolves”

Un’antologia analogica ci ricorda quanto amavamo la luna. La Milano gothwave degli anni che furono rievocata da un locale, il “Mono”, che è un vero progetto di stile.

VLADIMIR STANKOVIC (The Russian)

“Vampires and Fairy Tales”

Maria Tehresa of Austria founded a scientific commission in order to conclude that there were no vampires in her empire. Nevertheless the vampires of the serbian illustrator Vladimir Stankovic tell us about a very human mithology made of hunger, of ceremonies, of naps in soundproof coffins, where the Enlightment anathemas of her majesty didn't hold our serbian second Chagall from awaking once again amid cemeteries, mortuary slabs and flocks of bats.

SERGIO PANCALDI

“selfpoRtAiTS”

Pancaldi explores the portrait genre through the sites of an underground topography, in a series of shots showing nuances of self deliberately suspended between “What are you?” and “Who are you?”

MONO BAR presents

“We Were Werewolves”

An analogic anthology reminds us of when we used to love the moon. The gothwave Milan of the good ol' days recalled by a place, the “Mono”, which is a real style plan.

Ru's costume was almost as un-recognized as mine. He was Steve Martin's character from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

What are you, a pen or a mouse?

....what? who? where?

I could fill in the blank so many different ways! How would you fill it in?

TRF: It was Lights Out Lunch today.

I could use google, but that's no fun. I stalked it all around Tim Horton's in Canmore, AB and this was the only in-focus shot I got. Can anyone help me out?

OMGee

is that a lobed leaf I see??

a baby white oak showing itself maybe?

or just a weed sent to tease needlessly?

I am really really hoping this little tiny sprout turns out to be a very tiny white oak. I have not entirely given up hope that my original baby will show signs of life this Spring, but I admit that hope is very slim. It upsets me because the oak was so symbolic and he meant a lot to me. If by chance the acorn I planted happens to have somehow made a go of it and this bit of green is indeed that white oak acorn I will be very surprised and very happy...a definite sign of good things and new beginnings. UPDATE: Not an offshoot of the oak, not sure what it is but it has definitely grown. I am disappointed, but also glad that there is life whatever it turns out to be.

Not kidding this is smaller than my pinky nail!
