هر زمان یک کاربر به صفحه ویکی پدیا دسترسی پیدا میکند نسخه به روز شده (از نسخه اصلی) را دریافت میکند. کنترل پایگاه داده بر عهدهی مدیران ویکیپدیا باقی میماند، که اجازه میدهد دسترسی و مجوزها توسط یک مرجع مرکزی حفظ شود.
