it comes...it goes...in the meantime, i try to pay attention. and it means something to me that you do, too. thanks so much.
Running lots of errands in my South Hill neighbourhood, so on this #WhatISaw Day 18/2016, I give you a spidery crack in the sidewalk, beautiful green and orange, a neighbourhood mosaic, and something #madhurjaffrey revealed yesterday.
We're at #WhatISaw Day 50! And we have a statue at Main St. SkyTrain that I hadn't seen before, dazzling lights made of recycled materials, a lone teddy bear in a community garden, and sparkling trees brightening the sidewalk.
well, this starts year 7 of these monthly mosaics...how can that be? Although, now that i stop to think about it for a moment, rather than just wondering where the time went, i'm happy to see bits of my life remembered...and i am always happy to have what i do noticed, enjoyed, appreciated...or just seen. thanks for that.
On top of the American Express Building looking down onto Central Park and Manhattan. It was not until I got home and examined the photo that I realized my filter had been cracked in 4 places. This is what made the sky look this way.
Driving into the small town of Midway, Utah, I was stopped by these three young entrepreneurs trying to sell me pumpkins, corn stalks and there favorite donuts.
You can’t say there not trying.
I noticed this young man helping his mother with bagging the groceries. For his young age he was quite good at putting items in the bags and in the cart.
so ... seriously ...
i am so focused on understanding auto focus points on my camera ...
and working on shooting in aperture priority ... once i finally saw
mister daddy longlegs SPIDER .... ewwwwwwwwww ...

the thought process of a spider. i try to keep my distance. there
was no afternoon chat. believe me. i was OUT of here. :))
have a lovely day, you with long (*or short*) summer legs :))
Walked out on the deck tonight at dusk and saw this huge round light in the southwest sky............too small for the moon (and going down where the moon doesn't) ; too big for a star or planet. Watched for long enough to realize it was very strange , large, slow moving, better get my camera. By the time I got back it was almost below the trees, I was too rushed to focus properly.this was the best of the various shots I took. SOOC. If you zoom you will see some strange markings on the bottom........definitely not what I would expect from an aircraft from an advanced civilization. Is someone local floating a big balloon as a Halloweén prank? I phoned a friend at the Lake, somewhere on the other side of the mountain.,,,,,she went out on her deck, and after talking with me a few moments.............said "I can see it......between the trees,,,,,,,,,,,,,,a big light,....Oh I can't see it any more." Meanwhile she had got her daughter to come out with a camera and try for a shot..............will see if they got a better one.
True story.

While in Scottsdale , Arizona Looking in a General Store, I found this woman who I thought was real. Upon getting closer I realized she was not real at all. She sure looked like it.
On this #WhatISaw Day 13/2016, a glimpse of the late afternoon sky, bud spotting, hanging out at the sushi joint, and I love rugs 😊

after a popsicle daydream manifested itself on victoria's front lawn
five popsicles in a row, held together and next to each other like a flute or a rainbow xylophone brought to me from mrs. stryker's fifth grade music class
i was transported via a frozen chemical sugar blend
the only word i could speak was "GOD!" and "OH GOD!" and "FUCK!"
the perfect food is the popsicle
