A vast industrial area is situated in Wesseling only about 10km from my hometown Brühl. The city is home to several chemical companies including a Royal Dutch Shell oil refinery which is connected to Rotterdam and Wilhelmshaven via a pipeline to source crude oil. Most of the time this area is not too beautiful but especially in the winter time sunrise and sunset may show some amount of industry charme.

Next shot of the series from Friday's tour. I liked the color and structures in the two roofs separated by the yellow line in the center. This is the first picture shot with my Fujifilm X-T10 and the 16-50 kit lens (cheap but I think I like it).
