The immediate moment after sunset gave this weird effect at Cilonen, Gower.

Yesterday morning, we woke to freezing fog. Cold... but Marnie had to have her walk, and here we are by our local pond. The sun was just breaking through to illuminate the scene. I hope you like it as much as I do. Best viewed large -- you can see the little blocks of ice resting on the surface of more ice. Must admit, I was cold all day after this outing ! 😃

**Vivid Nature Challenge**

Metelkova is one of the weirdest places to see in Ljubljana, Slovenia’s capital. Formerly, the site was the Slovenian headquarter of the Yugoslav National Army. The buildings have been squatted since September 1993 in a declared illegal way, mainly by artists, activists and young students. In 2005, Metelkova was declared a national cultural heritage site and the European Cultural Fund attributes financial support. If you like graffiti, weird art, and quirky sculptures then this is the place to head to.

Some very weird things are going on here……

The little sheep, I uploaded a few days disappeared together with the first upload of this photo today ……. I got a bad panda image for a few minutes ….. and then those two photos were gone!!!!!! Not a good start today……I feel sad about it…..

I have a little story for this image…

"Sometimes an origami-model needs some extra help to keep its form so it doesn't fall apart immidialaty after assembling. With the help of tiny pegs and a little bit of wet folding this can be done….and then you just wait……."

found this one on my hard drive from a few years ago. i think it was taken around 10am to 12 noon. the light was really unusual and even the fog/ mist had a orange tint to it

This is Deadvlei in The Namib desert. The trees are petrified on the salt pans in the middle of the desert. It is an amazing sight. The people give it scale but I would love to have been alone there too.

This is one of those strange weather conditions, a combination of rain, mist and a break in the clouds that have all combined to produce something weird. I was waiting for a giant spaceship to appear. What do you think?

. . . It was a long shot looking for Northern Lights this far down in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan! But it was good to get out for the first time since my new knee surgery in August!

Floaty birds, what will they think of next?

The bench is empty but in the reflection two people sit in it, a weird alignment no alter to photo.

Stoodley Pike

The route back down from Stoodley Pike takes you along by the walls that partially surround the ruins of Red Dykes Farm. One of several farms that were abandoned after the building of Withens Clough reservoir.

The photo could have been better, the light is a bit weird as the shot was taken straight into the sun as it was starting to get low.
