Active Assignment Weekly: April 15-22, 2024, Simplicity. To me, simplicity means no distractions. I decided to use two of the many different techniques available to achieve this - fill the frame ("After the Rain") and negative space ("Beach Time"). Both photos were taken at Point Pelee National Park, Ontario. You'll be seeing a lot of pictures from this park, as I am here for two months (it is a bird migration hotspot).
Photography Weekly asked if I'd be willing to send them a few of my photos and The Monkey House was another one I sent so hope people don't mind again. I see another of mine is in Issue 513 but I'll spare you that😀
Fear not there will be some fresh stuff soon. Had a rather wet day on Skomer Island today so have 2500 shots of Puffins to wade through! All the dryt weather we have and then the day I have booked the boat for it is wet!
Hope every one is having a good weekend.
Posting an old photo to capture the mood these days. It's been raining for the past weeks in the city.

2023 Weekly Alphabet Challenge 29/52 ~ Celestial
A difficult challenge to achieve whilst on holiday. Fortunately just as I was leaving Tatton Park Flower Show this plane, taking off from Manchester airport, flew low and directly over us making a more interesting shot than just the sky.

I hope you all have a great weekend! This little girl turned in her Peony scalp www.flickr.com/photos/happibug/4470470487/ for these yummy hot pink curls by Kersten. She sends a big thank you and a hug to Auntie Kersten and says "look, Mom let me get a piercing!"!
(Having none myself I just now realized that eyebrow piercings have to come in two's ... oops! Fixing that soon! :D)
Still on a flickr break, love to you all!
