Llanddwyn lighthouse on a changeable day, for most of the time it was blue skies which I’m not a big fan of. But in the afternoon the rain moved in to make the scene a bit more dramatic. Thank goodness for the changeable Welsh weather….

Triggered with PocketWizard Plus II transceivers. Flash exposure is set to balance out the sun in the back, which was f/8 at 1/200 sec, ISO 200. Light reading on the face without the flash was at f/5.6

I live for the weekends these days and am a HUGE fan of Saturday adventures, whether it's checking out locally made clothes, jewellery, bags, accessories, cards, etc at the Makers' Market, or hunting out a new flavour of Fair Trade coffee at the Global Village Market.
We toured the National Mustard Museum in Middleton, WI in search of my hometown favorite, Bertman's. Luckily the owner of the museum saw my Indians hat and ushered us over to the good stuff, telling us that it was the number one seller on their website!
This picture shows off a display of mustard bottles and packs from all over the country.

A shot from our trip to Connersville, In. for the annual "Polar Express" train ride. The kids wear pajamas and have hot chocolate and cookies on the train. They read the story from the Polar Express book and then visit Santa's village.. on the way back, Santa visits every car and talks to all the kids. It's a great time for the children, and a very popular experience! We took Dylan and Jackson this year... Dylan has been the previous 2 years we went.
