Its unusual for this train to run on a Saturday and its normally been a solid Freightliner turn, so it makes a pleasant change to get a DB red class 66 over Porthkerry. Here 66192 is seen in charge of 6C93 10:39 Cwmbargoed Opencast Colliery to Margam Terminal Complex.
Its a hard life sometimes lounging around but someone has to do it.
A photo from a few weeks ago which will have to do until I get another chance to dress lightly.
Stay well. I hope this doesn't raise your temperature too much .... wouldn't want any false positives don't want any real positives for that matter

We had some wonderful weather over the weekend so I grabbed a few outdoor photos. I'm still waiting for this girl to tell me her name. I've been calling her Lottie in the meantime. >.<

If there's one event you must always consider going to then it has to be the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust's Annual Open Weekend in October. It's an extremely well run and family friendly event with around 180 vehicles to see and enjoy. There are two frequent bus routes to sample the buses plus six themed tours involving up to five vehicles on each. The event is very popular with enthusiasts from far and wide attracting many, like myself, from the south of England!
Anyway, here's a selection of my photos from the weekend, including a few I snapped on the Friday before the event. Well done team GVVT, your sterling efforts are appreciated by many!
Sharonville, Ohio. Seen at this weekend's HorrorHound convention which is a celebration of monster and horror films. We all need a good excuse to dress up and many of us can't wait until Halloween.
Don't let this beauty fool you. Remember you are at HorrowHound Weekend. There are no innocents here. The post in the upper lip, the ring in the nose and all that black leather with zippers are clues you need to pay attention to. The Shadow told me that evil lurks behind that sweet looking smile.
"Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!"

I had a quick look at our weather and as you can see we are in for a cold Saturday and a snowy Sunday, we are above 1000m so it's going to snow here right in Oberon, I have to see it to believe it. It sure would be nice if it did, Photo opportunities.

The first 20 Type 1 Bo-Bo 1000 H.P. locomotives arrived at Devons Road engine shed in the East End of London at the end of the 1950's. In the heart of Bow it was a sprawling site and became the country’s first all-diesel depot in 1958.
We are delighted to welcome green liveried D8001 (20001) 'back home' (well almost within the sound of Bow Bells if the wind is blowing in the right direction). This loco has undergone extensive restoration and an engine overhaul over the past few years and we are very grateful to the Class 20 Locomotive Society for the loan of this iconic locomotive, which celebrated it's 60th birthday in 2017.
Status: Out of traffic undergoing minor overhaul and repaint

Pitching up during a Sunday afternoon at Savannah's Hilton International Airport in Georgia, amongst all the Biz-Jets I unexpectedly found a brace of US Marine Corps Hornet fighters sitting on the General Aviation ramp but with the GA ANG ramp devoid of anything bar a visitor -
a shot of which which I'll publish later

Hey y'all, I just got back from a Fantastic 25 hour date with Mitchell in Raleigh. Here I am Saturday afternoon on the deck of our awesome suite! We went out to a great Italain meal and a little shopping then back came back to the room for an evening that included a first for me, getting into a jacuzzi. Yes I have never even been in a jacuzzi much less been in one with my boyfriend but needless to say I loved the experience and can't wait to do it again. We were up soo late we barely got any sleep last night then today we checked out and ate some great Japanese food then spent the afternoon at the mall. This Wednesday is our one year anniversary but we are going to celebrate it next weekend. Look for lots more pics this week from last night, some pics I have in honor of our anniversary and possibly the rest of the mountain pics and some of the blast from the past pics I have saved. I hope everybody had a great weekend and will have a good week!
