Not sure if I got it right
This was a weekend away with Mike, Shannon, Mark, Jen, Matt, Tofu, Amy, Neil and all the kids. We rented a cabin in Wrightwood. There was no snow which stunk. The weekend started OK until the uninvited guest, the Noro virus showed up. Wil, Reagan, Aus and lexa spent the entire night sick. Most of the grown ups got sick after. Shannon and Matt spent some time off work the next week dealing with it. So we affectionately called this puke weekend. Merry Christmas.

This weekend me and my family went village in the north of Portugal. The light there was amazing and there were trees with the most luminous colors against other trees with dark colors.

Often on weekends, Lindsey and I drive around the county (or elsewhere) to take pictures. She drives while I hang my head out of the window like a dog (not really, but I did that when I was a kid sometimes). I rarely stay in the car when I find a subject, but from his behavior I could tell this old dog would've run away.
By the way, I know that I'm not holding the camera 'the correct way.' I'm in a moving car, randomly and quickly taking pictures. Gimme a break.

Little K and I are making our first trip to Sacramento to check out potential new neighborhoods before we start house hunting in earnest. Missing hubby this week - can't wait to meet up with him.
