About 2.5 hours from home, the Coquihalla Lakes Lodge has great, well kept cabins on a couple of nice lakes for fishing and relaxing. Sure was nice to get away from home finally after the COVID-19 isolation for the past 3 months!

I spent a great weekend, photographing dances. My main setup was 3 Indra 500's. I set up a 4th light with a wide angel dish and grid way off to camera left. I changed the channel for that light and had a second remote on my D810 with a Sigma 35mm. My hope was to catch the in-between shot when the dancers were thinking about the pose they wanted to do. I only got 33 images with that setup, but I'm digging how it worked out.
I had such a great long weekend. I haven't felt this happy in a long time! I also used all the cameras I currently own (5) this weekend! LOL.
I took a ton of photos; I shot 2 rolls of 135 and 2 rolls of 120. Plus, the 3 rolls I finished during the week; this weekend I got 4 rolls of 135 and 3 rolls of 120 developed and I scanned them all! (That took a long long long time, but it was enjoyable) I uploaded most of the photos I took last week and I have yet to upload any of the ones from this weekend. (Well, there a couple in this upload that are from this weekend)
The two awesome things about this weekend were Yashi and Trip.
I didn't use a meter with Yashi. I was worried that I would get it wrong, but I was so amazed that I could guess the exposure pretty well! I'm really happy about that.
The Trip just surprises me every time. The stuff I get out of that thing is ridiculous. It's such a fun and easy camera to use.
Not to leave out my Bessa, she did great too. I was especially blown away by the film I used with it; Konica Minolta VX200. It scanned so well and I really liked the results. I'm really getting the hang of the 21mm. It's so cool to shoot with.
Can't wait to share all my happiness with you guys during the week.
I hope everyone had as great of a weekend as I did.
33 photographs stitched together in Autopano Pro. I took 11 shots of each area 3 times and created 3 separate panoramics, one at -2ev, 1 at 0ev and one at +2ev. I then tonemapped all 3 panoramics in Photomatix. From there, it was off to TIffen's DFX filter suite for the coloration and diffusion. Noise Ninja did the noise reduction duty and back into Aperture for final cleanup. My first HDR Panoramic photo, and I'm pretty happy with the initial result.

It's Thanksgiving this weekend here in Canada! So I'm celebrating all the wonderful friendships I've made here on Flickr, through my blog, The Hive and on Etsy by having a little give-away! Up for grabs is a handmade needlebook made from turquoise and cream hand woven felt.
Please come and visit my blog and leave a comment, or if it's easier, just leave a comment here and I'll add your name to the draw.

It would have been entirely appropriate for this to have been a Colas Grid rather than a Tug...
But it wasn't...
