The webbing 1 1/2" wide, the hardware is powdered charcoal gray metal. The webbing is sewn into a fabric connector instead of directly sewn to the body of the bag. The fabric connector bends more than the webbing, it conforms to the body better, and it wears a bit better than the webbing will.
The yellow webbing are 'jacklines.' In more dicey situations, we clip our tether on to these when we need to go forward.

I love the colors on the wood, and how it almost reflects the sunset happening in the opposite direction. I love the textures on the wood and the spider webs
This is webbing on a stem of native Chamise (Adenostoma fasciculatum, Rosaceae) in the woods today, but it's the work of a caterpillar and not a spider. If you look close, you can see the caterpillar in a little tube-shaped house. I don't know what kind of moth it will become, but I've seen them before -- see this photo and this photo and this photo. Spiders aren't the only ones. Happy Web Webnesday! (San Marcos Pass, 27 March 2024)
Standing over 50 feet away, in the morning mist, this spiderweb shone in the morning light against the fog of the pond. Mist sparkled on the webbing.
I did some investigating, but I couldn't find any information online about what these might be. They are probably something like the tent worms found in North America.

Not to sure if it's spiders or caterpillars, but someone has been pretty busy in the woods. A good number of trees are covered with this type of webbing.
