this web was so finely wrought that
I could not see it the following day
after the rain had gone, I knew it was
there but had to closely peer before
I spotted it !

"The Tangled Web We Weave"
Lots of webs in the garden at the moment, but precious few spiders. They're probably all behind me...
In the grander
web of design
I find myself lost
to the pattern
The hearts,
the cross,
the Star sign
As unique as the
rings of Saturn
This green eye sees
deep in the divine.
Way in deep where the
soul dose long and yearn.
In the grander
web of design

zen pretty much comes
down to three things
everything changes
everything is connected
pay attention

our dear neighbour "collects"
the spiders love to decorate
his treasures, you just never know
when you are going to need
that special dust covered thingamajig :)

Frosty spiders web on the railings by the wier at Etherow Country park, a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure what the spiders thought of Jack Frost's enhancements to their webs!
A couple more shots below.
Web designed and constructed by Micrathena Gracilis (spiny backed orbweaver spider) in my yard. Outer radius is approximately 6"; majority of concentric segments are spaced at appropriately 1/8". Webster Groves, Missouri.
