C'è ancora tempo per visitare la mostra 'I Bassifondi del Barocco', ospitata dall'Accademia di Francia a Villa Medici fino al 18 gennaio 2015. La mostra è dedicata al lato oscuro ed alle classi inferiori della società del periodo del barocco romano, caratterizzatasi come un epoca di incredibile inventiva artistica e di grandi paradossi. La mostra esibisce più di 50 opere, tutte prodotte a Roma durante la prima parte del 17° secolo e che mettono in risalto l'aspetto più trascurato della creatività artistica romana. La mostra è stata realizzata in collaborazione con il Petit Palais, Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris e si sposterà in questo museo nel febbraio 2015.
