Out hunting in Mom's garden for Spider webs again today. This one is "slightly" out of focus but was a very beautifully designed web.

Spotted here in Llandrindod between railings.

Doh its Monday....

Handmade for Macro Monday

There are a lot of spiders living around the immediate vicinity of our house, mainly in the garden, shed and even at the back of the car side mirrors (they never seem to go away there).

I captured this one frosty morning to get the dew which had clung to it. I processed the picture to this cold, blue colour as I felt it fitted with the overall sentiment of the picture.

Responsive layout

The intricacies of a spider's web are amazing (especially when you consider that evolution did this). You can clearly see that the creature has first made the radial threads, then accurately laid down the circumferential threads, here and there attaching them to the radials and going back on itself.

This web was hard up against a window and I took it through glass. I've given the clarity a nudge using photoshop's lomo effect.

Just a brief moment in time when I could get the sun nicely behind this spider and its web.
