Step back and appreciate all others who share your planet.

Because without them, you would cease to be.

We are all one interacting entity!

In the other shot you can see him being curious. Now, I think he's saying, "Is this my good side"? You can see the urban city below him. Wild animals fight for places to live as we continually destroy their habitat. I'll stop there. I'm in a negative space at the moment. #weareallone

There's a rainbow in the sky all the time don't be blind

There's a rainbow in the sky all the time don't be blind don't be blind

Said you I'm living in my fantasy

But is you who are blinded from reality

The material world mean so much to you

You just can't get what I'm telling you

There's a rainbow in the sky all the time don't be blind don't be blind

Cause in a town called sorrow there was joy

Yes and there I met the painless tear

Freed he expressed emotions that egos fear

My life is full of colors yeah my mind is clear

There's a rainbow in the sky rainbow in the sky

Found I mercy in every sunrise

I am born again from the womb of the night

All I have I have left behind

Minds' eye eyes eye a light will shine

There's a rainbow in the sky all the time don't be blind don't be blind

Rainbow in the sky rainbow in the sky.

I took these mussels from the beach- side restaurant I work in. One had the most beautiful shell and the other two (to the left) were tightly connected together (reminded me of a mother and child). I placed them back in the sea. They were the lucky ones not being eaten by our customers that day.

It is a fact that Olympic Games will begin in Beijing next Friday... so my prayers and wishes are that we all rejoice in that what unite all of us... how to know what i am talking about... ask the heart... that part inside every human being where there is infinite joy and no trace of hate...

As these chinese lions are a symbol of luck, that is what I wish you all at the games! And of course fun, fun, FUN! :)

Btw, believe it or not I had to desaturate the pic a bit, lol!

George Evgeniadis is a food technologist and educator. In this article he presented to me his school project: “Special Stick”, and pointed out the power of creativity and the power of his students with special needs as well as the benefits of cooking in the lives of people with intellectual disability.

His contribution to our world is remarkable and worthy of being noticed!

Bringing social change through education is a huge step towards global evolution and spiritual awakening...

We can do this all together! We are one and all connected!

One of the participating First Nations canoes arrives at Science World at the east end of False Creek in Vancouver BC.

The TRC is a component of the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement.

Its mandate is to inform all Canadians about what happened in Indian Residential Schools (IRS). The Commission will document the truth of survivors, families, communities and anyone personally affected by the IRS experience.

This includes First Nations, Inuit and Métis former Indian Residential School students, their families, communities, the Churches, former school employees, Government and other Canadians.

The Commission has a five-year mandate and is supported by a TRC Secretariat, which is a federal government department.

The TRC hopes to guide and inspire Aboriginal peoples and Canadians in a process of reconciliation and renewed relationships that are based on mutual understanding and respect.

Canoe Day, 17 Sep 2013, was part of Reconciliation Week In Vancouver BC. This is a few of the volunteer support group.

Canoe day was initiated for First Nations to paddle their canoe into False Creek where a traditional protocol of welcome occurred by local First Nation tribes known as the host. Indian residential school survivors participated in the water that day and paddled up for protocol, recognition and honor. This is a unique “All Nations” Canoe Gathering.

Residential Schools

Residential schools for Aboriginal people in Canada date back to the 1870s. Over 130 residential schools were located across the country, and the last school closed in 1996. These government-funded, church-run schools were set up to eliminate parental involvement in the intellectual, cultural, and spiritual development of Aboriginal children.

During this era, more than 150,000 First Nations, Métis, and Inuit children were placed in these schools often against their parents' wishes. Many were forbidden to speak their language and practice their own culture. While there is an estimated 80,000 former students living today, the ongoing impact of residential schools has been felt throughout generations and has contributed to social problems that continue to exist.

On June 11, 2008, the Prime Minister, on behalf of the Government of Canada, delivered a formal apology in the House of Commons to former students, their families, and communities for Canada's role in the operation of the residential schools.

The Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement

With the support of the Assembly of First Nations and Inuit organizations, former residential school students took the federal government and the churches to court. Their cases led to the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement, the largest class-action settlement in Canadian history. The agreement sought to begin repairing the harm caused by residential schools. Aside from providing compensation to former students, the agreement called for the establishment of The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada with a budget of $60-million over five years.

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada has a mandate to learn the truth about what happened in the residential schools and to inform all Canadians about what happened in the schools. The Commission will document the truth of what happened by relying on records held by those who operated and funded the schools, testimony from officials of the institutions that operated the schools, and experiences reported by survivors, their families, communities and anyone personally affected by the residential school experience and its subsequent impacts.

The Commission hopes to guide and inspire First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples and Canadians in a process of truth and healing leading toward reconciliation and renewed relationships based on mutual understanding and respect.

The Commission views reconciliation as an ongoing individual and collective process that will require participation from all those affected by the residential school experience. This includes First Nations, Inuit, and Métis former students, their families, communities, religious groups, former Indian Residential School employees, government, and the people of Canada.

We work and build Houses into the Sky, do reasearch and Science, write Books, paint Piktures, talk, think and live together... we are able to do Anything we want! Society and Civilization are on the highest Level ever - notwithstanding we still seem to forget about Something what is needed to make the whole Thing (the human World) grow on:

Ourselfes, the Humans! We are the Bricks which build this Mosaik we kall modern World...

Thinking about that I just kan´t understand how Things like the Situation in Libanon, Wars for Oil, Repression and inhuman Diktatorships kan still exists? And there is more painful Stuff we do to each other in our "little Everydaylife" as well... We´re all those "Bad Mans" we talk about, if we blame the "evil Persons and Systems" in the World...

The morally Fable of "Good & Bad" doesn´t exists in the Forces of Nature, Wars are necessary and naturally - yet in the "Human World" there is an important Anomaly: our Brain and Konsciousness! That changes a lot, kause we kan imagine Things which aren´t here now, we kan be kreative, make Inventions, feel Pain and Love etc...

Therefore "dekonstruktive and konstruktive Wars" exist in the "Human World" - it is our Decision what we do with our unbelieveable Power and Possibilities. Not important if you are rich or poor, silly or klever, weak or strong, Man or Woman, young or old... and all that petit Surfaces, I guess it´s a Question of our "kollektive Wish & Will": What did we really want? If Nobody wants these dishonest materialistik Wars, they would disappear!

But they are still there - and the Fakt that they are still there shows me that I´m a "Bad Man"...

I don´t speak about religious Worldpeace, Revolution, Optimism or other stupid Idealism here, I speak about Reality, Possibilities, our "Style", our Decisions.

It´s myself who starts the Wars, I´m Part of all the Things I kriticize - so it makes no Sense to argue, kause it´s me... You know, the Wars don´t start on the Oilfield or the Border, they start at Gas Station, at the Supermarket... in our Wallet and our Head!

"The Black Ribbon for Peace" Aktivity for Example is a wonderful Wave of humanistikal Power around the World, I see so much great Persons doing a little Part to tell "the World" that we don´t want such dishonest Wars anymore! We all, together and alone, are klever enough by now to understand that it never will work to handle the Problems there like that... The Konflikt just goes on and on - It´s a huge Farce, we produce!

Reconciliation Pole Raised at UBC ahead of Walk for Reconciliation 2017 in Vancouver

Haida Carver James Hart 'Reconciliation Pole' Totem Was Raised in UBC in April 2017 Ahead of the Walk For Reconciliation, Namayut WE ARE ALL ONE

A Reconciliation Pole by Indigenous Haida master carver James Hart was raised at the University of British Columbia (UBC) on unceded land of the Musqueam people on April 01, 2017. The Walk for Reconciliation takes place in Vancouver on Sep 24, 2017. These events become significant milestones as the country celebrates Canada 150 or the 150th year of the Canadian Confederation in 2017. Canada 150 (1867-2017).

A Haida potlatch (First Nations ceremony) took place as a ceremony to commemorate the thousands of young aboriginal children forcefully taken from their homes and sent to the Indian residential schools to 'normalize' them so that when they grew up, the children would fit into the larger white society. These children were forbidden to speak their native languages, practice their custom and basically stripped of their aboriginal identity. About 6,000 of these children died as a direct result of the different kinds of abuse by those who taught and operated the schools. This incident is widely seen as the Holocaust of the First Nations or native people of Canada. There are many who survived the ordeal but have to live with the horrific memory.

Indigenous residential school survivors and family members are an integral part of the healing process and many of them took part in hammering 6,000 copper nails onto the pole during the carving process. Each nail represents one child who lost their live at the residential schools. James Hart carved the 17-metre (55ft) totem pole that was cut from an 800 year old Red Cedar wood tree to act as a permanent reminder of the sufferings of those who passed on and those who survived.

During the totem pole raising ceremony, Elder Barney Williams related his experience of being raped and abused at a residential school in Meares Island, B.C. Others who also spoke included carver James Hart, UBC President Santa Ono and many BC elders and hereditary chiefs. The pole is now located at the future site of the Indian Residential School History and Dialogue Centre that is slated to open in the 2017-2018 academic year.

A potlatch is a gift-giving feast practiced by the indigenous people of the Pacific Northwest Coast of Canada and the United States. The ceremony associated with the potlatch was banned from being practiced because it was an aboriginal custom that the Canadian government wanted to suppress up until the early 1950s.

“It’s about understanding and moving forward together. We want to be part of Canada. We have lots to offer. Every nation has been here for thousands of years. We’re part of the country. Really, we want to be part of Canada but not the destructive part. My hope for the pole is that it moves people to learn more about the history of residential schools and to understand their responsibility to reconciliation,” said James Hart, Haida master carver and hereditary chief.

View On Black

I had wandered the day and was heading home when I saw this and a thought came to my head... I stopped to shoot it.

We come in this world the same, and when we leave this world we leave it the same, no one different then any other...but somehow in the middle of thing we (some of us) think we are different due to beliefs...anyway enough of my rant! It was like a light bulb went off when I saw, because we truly are always together and we are all as one!

It was an amazing sky....

Hope everyone is well...
