{Location - Undisclosed location. Hydra Base.
{Time - Really late at night. Like past your bed time late.
The Wizard paces across the floor in front of a large vault door. His teammate, The Trapster, is trying to break the seal of the door. Whirlwind is on the ground enjoying a cup of coffee, wondering why he's here. Taskmaster is leaning back on the wall wondering the same. He knows he is better off on his own, but for some reason accepted the offer the Wizard gave him.
(Pshuw!)
Suddenly the sound of a teleporter fills the silence in the long hallway. The sound causes all of the "Fightful Four" to direct their attention to the source of the sound.
"Pardon the interruption. I'm looking for the bathroom."
"Piss off, mate!"
"That's exactly what I'm trying to do Paste Pot Pete."
"The name's Tra..."
"Quiet, fool!" The wizard exclaims. The Trapster directs his attention back the door.
"Why are you here, Deadpool?" Whirlwind chimes in.
"No one's listening. I'd just like to find the bathroom.
The Frightful Four make no effort in amusing Deadpool with an answer. Seconds pass and The Trapster finally cracks the code on the vault door.
"Got it!"
"Taskmaster and Whirlwind, go inside the vault room. Get the weapon ready for extraction. Trapster, go get the car."
The three follow the commands. The Wizard walks towards Deadpool and rips off the cheap wizard cap from Deadpool's head.
"Hey! Mickey gave me that!"
"Bugger off, Deadpool. You have no business being here."
"I actually do. You however, do not. I'm here to stop you and your partners from stealing that weapon."
"Why do you care? This weapon will allow me to rule this world. Defeat any hero that comes in my way."
"Y'see that's the problem. I like the way this world is. Sure a few changes here and there would be nice, but I don't want to see anything you'd think of as the ruler of the world."
"Then you'll have to stop me..."
"Gladly..."

Nail guards (zhijiatao) used to be worn by aristocracy, as a symbol of Chinese status and wealth.
I grabbed this shot as I passed this lady, who I think, was dressed up.
Apparently in the Tang dynasty, when someone died, their nails were often trimmed and buried with them.
Designed to be launched from the LuftPanzer platform, the P11-D was maneuverable and capable of very high speeds. However, it was developed too late to change the course of the air war over Germany.
A female bordered mantis (I think Stagmomantis limbata) grooming. This is the time of year we find adults in our yard. In this species, the females don't fly (although they have wings, they're not big enough to get them airborne), so if I spot one I can usually find it again. They are usually either green or brown, but sometimes have markings that are pink or even purple. Photographed on a black background then released where found -- in the garden right outside my front door.
Also from Monday's visit to the shop. I didn't ask (and could be wrong) but I think these might be the new blood pattern Will's been working on. One of the flaws in the first pattern was that there were large patches of solid red that occasionally turned an entire blade or side of a weapon red.
The two plasma blades on the top right are cobalt, while the one below them is chrome. I'm fairly certain the claymore is gunmetal.

this is my tribute to the whole flickr PMG group and to one of my best friends: Thibaut, it's not anything special but i think it's okay, there should have been more weapons really, but unfortunately PMG stopped working properly (your SG550s will still have to wait, Joost D': right now i'm trying to do anything possible to make PMG work).
P.S. i actually had a dream about this gun, in the dream this gun belonged to a friend of mine, it was an AEG (airsoft electric gun), there also was an AKs-74u with the same magazine, grip, handguard, sights, flash hider and barrel.
this and the AKs-74u were on a gun rack full of other AEGs, and this one was the most particular weapon i saw on the gun rack, it has been fun to build.
i feel so good here in this group :')

I told my wife at about 2pm in the afternoon that we’re going to have a great sunset tonight based on the clouds. At 5pm I got my gear and just started driving, in hunt for something interesting to accompany the sunset.
I have a problem with authority. Well, it’s not all authority, it’s the authority of those who 1. have little but think they have a lot, and 2. have it and abuse it. Obtaining this photo I ran into someone with #3. someone who didn’t appear to have any authority, but layed it on pretty thick.
Just down the road is Pt. Mugu Naval Air Weapons Station. A Navy base. Via public road, they have this display of retired Naval military air power, F-14 Tomcat, F-4, some missles, etc. (photo courtesy of driko. So you can just drive up here from the highway, park in the parking spaces provided and look at these jets and weapons.

Literally within SECONDS of me pulling out my tripod, a dark brown piece-of-crap car, all beat up and making faulty noises pulls up diagonal right next to me. I think nothing of it as the mid-20s Hispanic man wearing a white undershirt and some baggy jeans gets out. I’m still getting my camera ready on my tripod.

Then you’re not going to stop me taking pictures. I have about 10 minutes of sunset left.
So, I walk around him and start clicking off exposures. He jumps on his cell phone and starts talking:
White male, beanie cap, mid 20s (which I should have thanked him for), driving a silver Honda accord, California plate “XTRAMED” (I wish), being very hostile, etc
So he’s calling someone on me. That’s fine. I’m not going to lose this sunset. There really wasn’t much else to shoot here, so I start putting my gear back in my trunk.
Where you going bro? How come you getting out of here so fast?
I only have about 10 more minutes of this good light left and then the sunset is over. I’m hoping to find a barn or abandoned tractor or something around here.
Well I just called the MPs (military police) and they’re going to be here in a couple minutes

At this point, he’s standing directly behind my car as I start it. I notice he’s not moving, so I get out, this time, a bit more pissed.

This is where I was just about to formulate my next statement which would in an ideal world would have been something thought-out, creative and recited with a 1960s Clint Eastwood voice, “You’re about to see what my knuckles taste like, punk!”, but I wasn’t given the chance as the base Military Police showed up.
So the police shows up and he narks on me that I was being uncooperative and still took the photos, etc. And I told him yes, I entered this spot via public road and took these photos that several people have photographed over the years. The officer describes to me that technically I’m on govt property and photographing these planes in this direction is also photographing the base’s air strip (flight line) and the base commanding officer does not allow it. I told him that there were no signs that said this and unless otherwise stated, I can take photos anywhere I want via public property (which was about 10ft behind me). He understood and was calm about it. I even showed him my photos and he said I could keep them since I wasn’t using a 400mm lens to try and photograph some top secret stuff. But that other dude got away without me getting his information.
I’m generally a nice guy. I’m 99% happy most of the time. But don’t piss me off, cause I will go Chuck Norris on you.
I Am the Ninja: Bicycle Ride and Battle

When:
Friday, December 16th 8:00 pm
We will ride at 8:30 to the battlground, a slow paced two miles or so cruise.
You will be given a foam sword and shuriken (throwing stars). These will be your weapons.
Once we arrive at the battleground you will be given boundaries and we will ride off into the night for a glorious ninja battle, may the strongest ninja prevail!
Rules for combat:
1.If you are ever more than 10 feet from your bicycle, you are declared “dead” and must return to the start.
2.Any hit to the head or body with shuriken or sword counts as a kill, dead ninjas must walk with their bike back to the start.
3.Any two hits to any two limbs or the same limb twice will constitute a kill, the dead ninja must return to the start, walking their bike.
4.It’s an honor system, ninjas are very honorable so please don’t cheat by not taking your hits.
5.Each round lasts ½ hour or until all ninjas are dead. You must keep moving on your bike and only dismount to have combat. This keeps the action going and reduces lag in the game.
We will do a free-for-all and perhaps some team battles. Don’t’ worry if you get taken out earily, we will reset and re-play as many times as you wish.
Plan to make more of them! The grey one supose to be carbine type of assault rifle. The black on the left side is sniper rifle. The biggest is heavy duty sniper. These are complementary of my mech MOC
