Monitor lizards have a massive body and powerful legs. Most species have strong claws on their feet, and all but the largest monitors can climb well. The tail is long and powerful, usually about twice as long as the body, and can be flailed as a potent weapon. Monitors grow throughout their life, so the oldest individuals in a population are also the largest ones.
Monitors have a long, specialized tongue with a bifurcated tip that is highly sensitive to smell and taste. The tongue is extended to pick up scent chemicals, and is then retracted into the mouth where the scents are analyzed using an organ on the roof of the mouth.
Monitor lizards grow replacement teeth in the gaps between their mature teeth. They have at least 29 vertebrae above their hips. Nine of these are neck vertebrae, supporting the unusually long neck of these lizards. Their powerful jaws are hinged in the middle, allowing them to swallow large prey. The head of monitors is tapered, and there are distinct ear holes.
Monitors are active predators, hunting during the day. They stalk a wide range of animals and eat carrion and eggs as well. Monitors ingest their prey whole if it is small enough, but they can also dismember large prey items so they can be swallowed.
Monitors, like all lizards, are poikilothermic or “cold-blooded.” They are most energetic after they have been heated by the morning sun, since their muscles work much more efficiently and easily when they are warm. Monitors can run quickly to chase down prey. When doing so they lift their body and tail clear off the ground.
Monitors also swim well, and may seek water as a refuge when threatened. They can walk underwater, and can use their tongue to smell underwater.
When threatened, monitors can be formidably aggressive animals. They can inflict painful bites and scratches, and the largest species are capable of killing a human. However, monitors can be readily tamed in captivity.
I have received the new weapons Arealight has kindly sent and am really quite amazed.

Love the vibrosword and the gauntlets are much better than BF. The gauntlets have a better fit and snug up to the base of the hand nicely. I also very much like the little touches of the hollow barrel and the clip/magazine bases of Jango's pistol and the clone trooper rifle. I also like the open trigger guards with the visible triggers on several of the guns.

The BrahMos is a medium-range ramjet supersonic cruise missile that can be launched from submarine, ships, aircraft, or land. It is the fastest cruise missile in the world. It is a joint venture between the Russian Federation's NPO Mashinostroyeniya and India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). It is based on the Russian P-800 Oniks cruise missile and other similar sea-skimming Russian cruise missile technology. The name BrahMos is a portmanteau formed from the names of two rivers, the Brahmaputra of India and the Moskva of Russia.
The reason for the increase in the use of child soldiers is also due to the nature of modern warfare : most of today 's armed conflicts are civil wars.We know so little about modern war and we are so excluded by the powers-that-be that without the commitment and professionalism of journalists we would know nothing.

Born on Geonosis, Ttaz Kor was raised by both his mother and father, who were workers at one of the many droid factories on the planet. Ttaz grew up longing for a life different from the one his parents lived, a life free from repetitive drudgery and one filled with adventure instead. At the age of 14, he began to take part in gladiatorial fights in the Geonosian arenas. There he was introduced to Mandalorian culture, and he quickly realized that it was within this culture that he would find his place. The Mandalorians took him in, and began to train him. Over the years, Ttaz Kor became a fearsome warrior, building a reputation as one of the deadliest gladiators on the planet.
All this changed when the Empire attacked Geonosis. Ttaz Kor and the other Mandalorians attempted to protect themselves and the native Geonosians from the slaughter, but when the dust had settled, only a few Mandalorians remained, and even fewer Geonosians.
On that day, Ttaz Kor vowed to dedicate his life to ending the Empire's reign over the galaxy. In remembrance of the genocide on Geonosis, Ttaz repainted his armor with the red Geonosian soil with which he had had to bury so many of his brothers in arms and friends.
Soon after, he joined the Survivors, and began his life's work.

Home Planet: Tatooine
Jak was born on Tatooine to two farmers. At the age of 7, he became an orphan when Imperial troops murdered his parents for aiding enemies of the Empire. Having no one to look out for him, he sold himself into slavery, and eventually became an apprentice to a mechanic in Mos Eisley. Jak learned quickly, and it became apparent that he had the mind of an engineer. Soon, he could fix just about anything, and he began to build projects of his own with spare parts.
Eventually, Jak was able to buy his own freedom, and made a name for himself as a gifted engineer. Now a free man, he turned his energy towards the burning resentment towards the Empire that had lived inside of him since he was a child. He began building weapons that he sold on the black market to anti-Imperial factions. Not long after, he caught the attention of the Survivors, who recruited him to their cause.
"He's downwind ... he has the scent. Claw extrusion ... right hand. Some blood evident."
"We need some kind of terminals there ... something to keep the flesh apart. Make a note, Hines."
"Yes, Doctor."

U.S. Marines with Fox Company, Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines (BLT 2/1), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conduct a Table 3 combat marksmanship course of fire as a part of sustainment training on the flight deck of the USS San Diego (LPD 22), Oct. 1. The 11th MEU is deployed with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group as a theater reserve and crisis response force throughout U.S. Central Command and the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
