Sunshine

This blue sky couldn't be clearer

Catching my reflection in his Wayfair mirror

It ain't the living on love through the radio

Ain't the margarita sipping on the patio

That's giving me this summer heat high

There's somethin' in the sunshine

Gets you slowing down taking your time

The way it's dancin' on my skin's

Got you pullin' me in

Kissin' on me like you've never been

Ain't the salt and lime

Must be somethin' in the sunshine

You have to keep refreshing the page

The screen blaring as if attacking your eyes

If you don’t check quickly enough

You’ll miss someone scolding Martha

For not taking her Christmas decorations down soon enough

Someone found four quail on their patio

The noise is too loud from the military base jets

It’s too hot. Why can’t we control the weather?

Does someone have access to a universal Thermostat?

Diane’s packages were stolen yesterday.

Have you seen them? They are large.

The swimming pool hours have changed

Ted really hates that and is incensed!

His poor wife can no longer swim when she wants.

There are also too many visiting family members in the pool

They are young and they can’t make it to the bathroom

Too many older residents also who can’t make it either.

The pool is dirty on Lone Cactus Dr.

Can someone please clean it more often?

It’s a crime to not have access to clean water.

The humans watch the humans.

The cacti also watch the humans.

They notice when Susan complains of a headache

Because she no longer takes her morning walk

Or when Richard doesn’t water them

He’s too busy being angry that Sam

Bought a new golf cart when he just has an old one

The cacti observe when Fran has a stomach ache

After yelling at a scorpion who came in uninvited.

She’s going to log into Nextdoor

She hates when she’s automatically logged out

After just taking five minutes in the bathroom.

She’s going to sit in her cozy armchair

The one she bought from Wayfair

And she’s going to say the HOA needs to hire

Exterminators for the whole neighborhood.

Put her dollars to work.

Let’s do something about the snakes, too!

Why live in this relentless heat every single day

If you could get killed by a rattler!

Martin, though, he gets outside

On Lone Cactus Drive

All of the plants and birds and clouds watch

As he breathes deeply

Puts one foot in front of the other

Calm yet determined to escape

Heads towards the mountains

And leaves all the humans behind.

Return of the King

7 years ago I went for the first time is this magic place with a couple of friends for shooting a popular series of waterfalls in the area. On the way of the return, I fell in love for this old gnarled beech. This tree has a special charm, I visited many forests with very ancient and old trees but this one is simply awesome. It's so photogenic and set in a perfect spot. I have also a strong link because s was the first image of I sold to a magazine and thanks to that, I started to gain visibility. My trees are now very popular are sold worldwide on Amazon Wayfair and many other platforms. This shot is a little different from my first version this time I hazarded a new horizontal comp with a more fresh and modern postwork. A tribute to the founder of my collection of trees.

One of the photos of a puzzle that has various poses of 11 cats. It took me about 2-3 weeks to put it together but I finally finished it. I have it on top of a folding table I bought through Wayfair. It took me a while but I was able to find it for $42 which was very reasonable considering all the much more expensive ones I found before it.

These lovely Blythe dolls are Odette Lake of Tears and Mermaid Tasha, for the theme “Tea for Two” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. It was a nice coincidence that I found this tiny tea set a the antique mall last week, just in time for this picture! The background is part of a set of 18” doll backgrounds I recently bought from Wayfair.

Large format really shows me how easily I can become distracted despite slowing down and really looking around me. I missed a shot because other hikers wanted to interact as I was setting up a shot, and I totally screwed up and missed it since I lost my concentration. I'll go back (hopefully!) to see if I can recreate the shot. But I so value LF since it makes me more observant, and the details are just incomparable. This is the last of my expired HP5 so will need to pick up some more 4x5 - I'll be finishing up my Ultra 8x10 soon as well, so time to find deals on film! Thanks to all the flickeranians who continue to inspire!

I found this groovy little fire pit on Wayfair, perfect for keeping the legs roasty toasty on these cool Autumn evenings.

My new workstation view creates a peaceful work environment when at home

A shot of 1 of the puzzles I put together. It's on a folding table in the living room that I bought from Wayfair so I would have a table to use for the puzzles.

LT362 in Oxford Street wearing a wrap for wayfair.

Riding!

Day 3 of sorting out my den, and things haven't progressed as much as I would have liked, as the 90x200cm mattress from Wayfair turned out to be a standard UK single (too wide and too short). Somehow we managed to roll it back up, having kept it's plastic cover on thank goodness.

As I don't yet have the den sorted, and it was raining hard, I glanced through the Treasure Hunt.

Here we have my leather riding boots, which escaped the cull on riding gear, posed with a Barbour-style long riding coat and my old crash helmet on the new chest.

The Christmas tradition of placing LED’s on the side of LT’s has returned this year, with Wayfair being the first with this rather attractive wrap (by recent standards) promoting their home furniture.

Here’s LT254 overtaking 2526 on the 133 whilst on the 8 heading east to Bow Church.
