Photograph taken at 09:48am on a thick misty morning, June 26th 2011 at the Birling Gap in Eastbourne, off Beachy Head Road, East Sussex, England.

This lone surfer was pretty accomplished at his craft, and made quite the figure emerging from the gloominess on those white charging waves.

The mist permeated every nook and cranny of my Nikon's inner workings as I changed lenses, making clean up time a real challenge!

On December 14 we had a violent pacific storm in the Northwest. At my home on the coast winds gusted to nearly 100 mph and we had nearly 4 inches of rain. I went to beach yesterday and took many pics of the 25 ft plus seas. I will be posting them in the next week, so stay tuned.
