My best friend's mom commissioned her and I to take engagement photos for her and her fiance, this was my first shoot so it was kind of exciting!
Waterloo Station has an impressive facade. Although more recent construction has boxed it in enough that it's actually hard to get a good view of it.
This entrance includes a memorial to employees who perished in the Great War.
Waterloo Bridge
In the 1930s London County Council decided to demolish the old Waterloo bridge and replace it with a new structure designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. The engineers were Ernest Buckton and John Cuerel of Rendel Palmer & Tritton. The project was placed on hold due to the Second World War. The new bridge was partially opened on Tuesday 11 March 1942 and "officially opened" in September 1942. However, it was not fully completed until 1945. It is the only Thames bridge to have been damaged by German bombers during the Second World War.
