A small collection of my older watches, I seem to have too many to wear!!

Macro Monday Theme - Tick
Ever since I got my first cell phone, I have stopped wearing watches. After finding my old collection, maybe I should start wearing them again.
Mum and Dad's watches.
"Looking close... on Friday!" theme "Watch"
The small one is mum's. This was a 21st birthday present to her from her parents (my grandparents) and dates from the 1940's
The Omega was my father's dating from the early 1960's
Both mean a lot to me and though neither are working and have seen better days, are back together again for this shot.
Today's theme is watch, I missed the deadline again :(
Segal's law is an adage that states: A man with a watch knows what time it is. A man with two watches is never sure.
WHERE the ironbarks are hanging leaves disconsolate and pale,
Where the wild vines o’er the ranges their spilt cream of blossom trail,
By the door of the bark humpey, by the rotting blood-wood gates,
On the river-bound selection, there a lonely woman waits,
Waits and watches gilded sunrise glow behind the mountain peak, 5
Hears the water hens’ shrill piping, in the rushes by the creek,
And by the sullen stormy sunsets, when the anxious cattle call,
Sees the everlasting gum-trees closing round her like a wall.
With the hunger of her bosom notes the wild birds seek their mates,
All alone and heavy-hearted, there the lonely woman waits. 10

Finally dressed up my Cocktail Time for a wedding last Friday, it's an amazingly good looking watch, just look at the second hand😎 taken with my phone.
I love watches - I have a few, Seiko, Citizen, Rolex to name but a few.
On a recent cruise these beauties were for sale. Tempting, although I prefer Seiko. I resisted
I've been quite busy lately and not much time to shoot. Hopefully I'll have some new works soon, plus I still need to catch up on your stream too! Sorry about that.....

A nice christmassy shot of a good old Rolex watch. Can't go wrong with these..

A heavy mist coils around the deadened trees lining the hill. ️ The Hauntford Institute, long abandoned by the living, remains restless. A chilling wind howls through the shattered windows. ️The halls breathe with unseen movement, and something unseen watches… waiting. The doors will let you in, but will they let you out? 🚪 Remember to click the Pedestal to begin your haunt! 👻
