And now for something completely different, A pile of glass in the final stages of the recycling process.
Some of the downtown apartments and businesses in Eau Claire still use the old school curbside tubs for recycle and carts, cans or bags for trash due to limited storage space. Here's a Waste Management set-out outside of an entry for an upper level apartment.

So many Autocars... they've really improved on quality and the drivers really like them but I've never been a huge Autocar person. An old Irvine truck disrupts the uniformity of the picture. I have a lot to say about that truck but I'll put the full description when I post a proper picture of it ;-)
Along with the ASLs that Sun Valley has, I was told that GI is sending ASLs into the Valley as well. There will be two of them on Monday.
At age 50, Phil became the oldest golfer to win a major championship when he captured the PGA Championship at Kiawah Island, SC on Sunday, May 23, 2021. He is now a six time major winner.
Lefty as he is known (somewhat oddly, Phil is right handed, but golfs left handed). Shown here at the 10th hole during the Pro Am Of the Phoenix Open held in Scottsdale, AZ on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. On even the relatively slow Pro Am day, attendance was 75,000 which is more than will fit into the University of Phoenix Stadium for the Super Bowl that Sunday.
Phil deserves to be a fan favorite. He is always quick with a smile and a tip of the cap. Coming off the 18th hole, he signed autographs for a least an hour. Phil is particularly popular here since he is an ASU graduate.
I'm happy to report that I have this photo printed at 11 X 14 inches and autographed by Phil. He takes care to find an appropriate location on the photo for his signature. He is more than willing to chat with you while signing and returning it to me he looked me right in the eye and said, "Thank you for your support, sir". Little wonder why he is so popular.

Tipping one of WM’s new black cans that they’ve been handing out to customers on Advanced routes. They look sick imo.

Throughout 2015, GI's fleet manager kept an eye out for old minis being sold at auctions, and finally, he found this one being sold relatively cheap from the city of Sacramento. He bought it and his team refurbished the truck. By mid-2016, the truck was up and running. It was used relatively frequently as a help truck or a spare when one of the Mice went down, however, Condors aren't the best quality and it soon started having problems earlier this year. Because of limited parts and experience with Condors, along with the delivery of the four Rats, GI planned to put this truck out of service. However, with a new contract starting in April, they need all the minis up and running, so looks like this one will be brought back to life along with the other Mouse that they planned on scrapping.
This truck is dumping the recyclables that were picked up from bins left on curbsides in the neighborhood. All recyclables such as cans, bottles and paper are mixed together by residents and will be sorted out here on site.
When Waste Management purchased Deffenbaugh Industries, they inherited the garbage collection contract for the City of Omaha, Nebraska. Most of the fleet that services the city remains in Deffenbaugh Industries livery. However, Waste Management sent units from other divisions to the Omaha yard to help resolve collection woes.
This Leach rear loader never had its tailgate painted yellow nor had a tipper or kick bar instead, giving it a very old school look. Omaha's collection is still completely manual across all streams.
The Lowry Ave Bridge gives a shout out to all of the men and women in the waste management industry who work tirelessly in their pursuit of "Keeping You and the Environment Safe."
A lonely, isolated spot for this sort of convenience. Who would avail themselves of this makeshift toilet facility is not exactly clear...

Anderson's second oldest FL is truck #230, an older Bridgeport FL. I really like the red fenders on this truck and the chrome bumper looks great in my opinion.

Seen on W. 7th Street in Saint Paul. From the number I'm assuming it's a WM unit, however if someone knows differently drop a comment. I find it a tad odd they didn't even put a decal or DOT number on the door. Perhaps there's something on the driver side, or this is a new addition.
