Der 1896 gebaute Wasserturm Ravensberg wurde von dem Kieler Stadtbaurat Rudolph Schmidt entworfen, der es bewusst architektonisch an mittelalterliche Befestigungs-, Stadt- und Burgtürme anlehnt. Blick von der Kreuzung Hansastraße, Ravensberg und Niebhuhrstraße.
One of my favorite things to do with a medium format camera is experimenting with a 35mm film and taking pictures with visible sprockets and a different proportion.
As you can see in the picture here, I did this a few weeks ago during a walk around Kornerpark in Neukölln.
Another cool thing I did that same day was that I also developed that film in the evening, so I took pictures in the afternoon and got the negatives ready a few hours later. I love this.

The water tower is a well-known landmark of Mannheim. The water tower was built from 1886 to 1889 on today's Friedrichsplatz on the eastern edge of the city center according to plans by Gustav Halmhuber. The tower is 60 meters high and 19 meters in diameter.
Der Wasserturm ist ein bekanntes Wahrzeichen Mannheims. Erbaut wurde der Wasserturm von 1886 bis 1889 am heutigen Friedrichsplatz am östlichen Rand der Innenstadt nach den Plänen von Gustav Halmhuber. Der Turm ist 60 Meter hoch und hat einen Durchmesser von 19 Metern.
Die Brücke hat ihren Namen von der benachbarten St.-Peters-Kapelle wurde in der ersten Hälfte des 14. Jahrhunderts errichtet. Die im 17. Jahrhundert eingefügten Bildtafeln haben Szenen der Schweizer- und der Stadtgeschichte sowie der Biographien der Stadtpatrone St. Leodegar und Mauritius zum Inhalt.
