No idea which specific uniforms these are - I'm guessing they are mostly French - but maybe also German. I stayed in the hotel in the main square that was used by the Nazi command in WW2.

Stonehaven’s War Memorial was built in 1922 and officially unveiled in 1923 to commemorate the men and women who lost their lives in the ‘Great War’ of 1914 -18. More names were added after the end of the Second World War.

In a galaxy small small away .... welcome to the Small Wars! A contest where the size matters and you have to be strong with the Force.
@dan.ko56 loves Star Wars and building small, so he created this wonderful contest about both. This is how this little event was born. You will have one month to build small things in one of the 3 categories, or in all of them:
Scene it! Category - build a micro Star Wars scene. Your build must fit in 10 x 10 studs and it can be max 20 studs high.
Ride it! Category - build a speeder bike (it can be a "real" Star Wars model or a made up one). The speeder bike must be maximum 10 studs long and 3 studs wide. You can have a slight overhang depending on the parts used.
Master it! Category - pick a side and build your Jedi or a Sith warrior as a minifigure.
As this was fun to put together, I hope that you will enjoy it as well!

Alyth War Memorial This monument is in tribute to those from Alyth district who fell in The Great War. The centrepiece of the monument is a large sculpture surmounting the plinth. The sculpture depicts two figures, a small figure of Nike standing in the palm of a much larger female figure, possibly Athena.
Picture taken on the Luxembourg American war hero cemetery. The cemetery contains the remains of 5076 American service members. Most of the interred died during WW 2 at the battle of Bulge which was fought nearby in winter 1944/1945
Damsquare in Amsterdam is devided with a road. For longer period of time on one side of that road demonstrates 1 pro Israel person (on the picture) and on the other side 1 pro palestina person. They both call each other nazi and say they will continue demonstrating untill the other gives up. War on a small scale...

Māori culture (Māoritanga) is the customs, cultural practices, and beliefs of the indigenous Māori people of New Zealand. It originated from, and is still part of, Eastern Polynesian culture. Māori culture also forms a distinctive part of New Zealand culture and, due to a large diaspora and the incorporation of Māori motifs into popular culture, is found throughout the world. Within Māoridom, and to a lesser extent throughout New Zealand as a whole, the word Māoritanga is often used as an approximate synonym for Māori culture, the Māori-language suffix -tanga being roughly equivalent to the qualitative noun-ending -ness in English. There have been four distinct but overlapping cultural eras—before Māori culture had differentiated itself from other Polynesian cultures (Archaic period), before widespread European contact (Classical period), the 1800s in which Māori began interacting with European visitors and settlers, and the modern era since the beginning of the 20th century. Māoritanga in the modern era has been shaped by increasing urbanisation, closer contact with New Zealanders of European descent (or Pākehā) and revival of traditional practices.
Traditional Māori arts make up a large section of New Zealand art and include whakairo (carving), raranga (weaving), kapa haka (group performance), whaikōrero (oratory), and tā moko (tattoo). The patterns and characters represented record the beliefs and genealogies (Whakapapa) of Māori. Practitioners often follow the techniques of their ancestors, but today Māoritanga also includes contemporary arts such as film, television, poetry and theatre. The Māori language is known as te reo Māori, shortened to te reo (literally, "the language"). At the beginning of the twentieth century, it looked like te reo Māori as well as other aspects of Māori life might disappear. This is my latest creation: The citadel from Star Wars The Clone Wars.
After months of work it's finally finished and I'm very happy to show it to you today. I really hope you like it and I'd be happy to read your comments. Favs appreciated (as always;D).
Some background info (from jedipedia):
The Citadel, also known as Citadel Station, was a prison constructed on the planet Lola Sayu by the Galactic Republic to hold rogue Jedi. Early in the Clone Wars, it was captured by the Confederacy of Independent Systems and Osi Sobeck became its warden.
Under Separatist control, the Citadel became known as the Confederacy's most isolated holding facility that held their high value detainees. The prison was heavily guarded by a number of droids including droid commandos. The clone trooper training facilities in Tipoca City on Kamino used a Citadel Challenge training course.
I didn't stick to the original model 100 %, mainly due to the fact that I wanted to build an interior. That's why my citadel appears to be a bit "thicker" than the one you've seen in TCW. Also I added some things such as the details on the walls and the hangar inside the mountain. I was generally quite creative. Obviously, because I enjoy it and it's probably the most fun part about building with LEGO, but also because there weren't a lot of high res shots of the citadel available. So I had to come up with quite a few solutions of my own in order to finish this MOC.
I think the end result is pretty good and I really enjoyed working on this big project.
