I'm having a hard time deciding what to do with the walls of the bedroom next to the blue toile room. I removed the awesome robin egg blue paper because it does not go with the color scheme. I already tried the red damask shown in the corner. I bought it and cut it, but it looks too busy. I don't like it with the two that I have already installed. I hate to spend more money on wallpaper that I am indecisive about. I think it needs to be a calm pattern or not use wallpaper in there at all and paint it or go with a solid scrapbook paper.
These are all papers from Itsy Bitsy Mini except the background which is Mini Graphics Blue Baby's Breath (reverse of what was in my original parlor). They are all a bit glossy except the baby's breath. Hate to have a house of gloss.
The 1279 is my first choice right now, but it will cost me another $17 including shipping. I have some tan/cream dot scrapbook paper that was $1.50 that I am considering. I also love that blue 1560. It would be brightened up with white trim and compliment the blue toile. I was also thinking about looking at some fabric as an option so I could make bedding that matches, but I do not like dealing with stretch. I covered my original kitchen walls with fabric and never really liked it.
I'm thinking of this house being like a quilt, not every square can be an exciting pattern. Your eye needs somewhere to rest.
What is your opinion?
