he didn’t hesitate. he stepped in like he belonged there. no glance left, no glance right. just the bottle in his hand, and the weight of someone who’s done this a thousand times. there was a breeze behind him, but he brought his own weather.

Taken on the way to Whites Beach, North of Piha yesterday avo with Terry .

Knabbed this on the way up the track as the sea spray caused some neat diffused light to pop through the bush. Certainly got a good thigh work out on this track and great views. Was a bit too clear for sunset drama but still good to get out for a change.

Bit too slow exposure for sharpness but more a reaction pic when this person walked in. Kind of glad I did get someone in this to give the angles of the trees and slope an anchor point

I don't call this a macro, since I wanted to project the ant in the environment.

Artist Statement:

“Clarity Finds Her”

In a world overrun by noise and distortion, she walks a straight line of absolute light.

Her face is hidden — not by chance, but by design. This is not about her identity. This is about her direction.

The trees whisper old truths. The light insists on presence. She walks forward anyway.

Stillness is not silence. It's a decision.
