Today I will walk out, today everything unnecessary will leave me, I will be as I was before, I will have a cool breeze over my body. I will have a light body, I will be happy forever, nothing will hinder me.
In beauty all day long may I walk.
Through the returning seasons, may I walk.
On the trail marked with pollen may I walk.
With dew about my feet, may I walk.
With beauty before me may I walk.
With beauty behind me may I walk.
With beauty below me may I walk.
With beauty above me may I walk.
With beauty all around me may I walk.
In old age wandering on a trail of beauty, lively, may I walk.
In old age wandering on a trail of beauty, living again, may I walk.
My words will be beautiful.

This area is really neglected, with the factory walls covered in graffiti and Buddleia left growing from the most unlikely places in amongst the brickwork. In time it'll break it apart as it grows.
But I love it and recently I took a walk with my partners' two Retrievers through town and several of the outlying villages. It was just the kind of day to keep on walking, so we did and what great company they were!
Oski, the older of the two stopped about 15 times on the way back, refusing to move, but later on I encouraged him to only take short breathers before walking on and it was as though he heard and understood me!
When we got home I traced our route on Google maps and found that we'd walked for 12 miles.
One of my favorite places in the Amsterdam forest. The person with the dog made a great shadow in these misty conditions.
Hop you have a great weekend and many thanks for your comments and favs

the morning walk gives me so much pleasure, perfect for the body and mind (soul too), especially before work:-)) Love :-))
Happy Bench Monday :-))
After having temps in the 120's, this morning's walk was quite cool in the lower 90's. My favorite time of day anywhere...I was the only one out and I love the peace and quiet.
Holidays and two hours of sunshine today. No hesitation, out on the trail to enjoy light and landscape. Porta Westfalica, Ostwestfalen, Germany
A lone photographer walks on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path as the sun falls at the end of another hot summers day.
This area is spectacular for coastal photography and I've already got quite a lot of images to process when I return home. This is just a taster processed quickly on my laptop. I'm saving the good stuff for when I get home and can see things on a big screen.
Taken on a sunny Spring morning at Thorp Perrow Arboretum in Yorkshire,England. Our second visit to try and photograph the daffodils at their best.
Daffodils, that come before
the swallow dares,
And take the winds of March
with beauty.

The light at the end of the tunnel is not always a train. Walk on, out of the darkness.

This place is part of the Bussaco Palace Hotel gardens. The hotel is considered as the last legacy from the kings of Portugal and is a unique architectural, botanical and landscape complex in Europe. It is categorized, as one of the most beautiful and historic hotels in the world.
The gardens and surrounding park, the Convent of Santa Cruz do Bussaco, the “Monacal Desert”, the “Sacromonte” symbolizing Jerusalem and the passion of Christ, with its steps of the Sacred Way, the High Cross, the numerous hermitages and chapels, are the largest Architectural complex built by the Order of the “Discalced Carmelites”. The “Fetos Valley” and its lakes, the “Fonte Fria” with the artificial cascade, of strong Italian influence by the hand of the queen Maria Pia, and the romantic viewpoints, are other attractions. A fantastic place to visit..

Now
For the very first time
Don't you pay no mind
Set me free, again
To keep alive, a moment at a time
That's still inside, a whisper to a riot
The sacrifice, the knowing to survive
That first decline, another state of mind
I'm on my knees, I'm praying for a sign
Forever, whenever, I never wanna die
I never wanna die
I never wanna die
I'm on my knees, I never wanna die
I'm dancing on my grave
I'm running through the fire
Forever, whenever
I never wanna die
I never wanna leave
I'll never say goodbye
Forever, whenever
Forever, whenever
Learning to walk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?
