I have always been fascinated by this sculpture (a structure of red beams of steel). To me, its abstract nature is balanced by the strength of both the curvature and color used. It stands "in the middle of nowhere". Why put something like this here ? well, why not ?

Photos made during the Annual World Wide Photowalk 2014 organised by Scott Kelby and run internationally. I went along to Liverpool st, not very hopefull on the weather holding out and met a bunch of wonderful people including our walk leader Steve. He took us around spittalfields market and the iconic gherkin building. I really enjoyed the day and my 3rd photo walk.

Curtainwall on the Union Station annex creates a strange melange of blurry window reflections.

Made it to the Worldwide Photowalk this year after a couple of years of time conflicts. I choose an evening DC walk and it was a gorgeous night for it. But before the sun went down and the lights came on, it was rather grey and gloomy.
