A reconstruction of what might be on the bedside table of a typical schoolboy during WWII. This is part of the excellent WWII exhibition at Walford Mill in Wimborne, Dorset, UK which features several reconstructed interiors of the period. The exhibition concentrates on the relationships between locals and black GIs when they were stationed here - it is really worth a visit if you are in the area.
