The ODB McDonald's, a Philly landmark and the place where the Wu-Tang Clan's Ol Dirty Bastard was arrested in November 2000, deserves a historic marker, oh yes - and there's a campaign to put one up. A joke? Maybe. But considering that Philadelphia, a city with over 1.700 statues and monuments on public land, only just very recently managed to put up the first statue honouring a black person says it all.
In the meantime, here's the Ol Dirty Bastard performing "Baby, I got your money".
one of those nights, the wife and daughter both sleep, I'm awake and listening to some of my favorite artist/groups. 1990's hip-hop brings back wonderful memories of yester-year.
Homage to the Wu-Tang Clan:
"I bomb atomically, Socrates' philosophies
and hypothesis can't define how I be droppin these
mockeries, lyrically perform armed robbery
Flee with the lottery, possibly they spotted me"
