The obligatory midnight sepia treatment on a fall picture!!

The Matford F917 was a french truck made for the french army in 1937, the WS version was used as a tanker by the french army and the french air force but it wasn't the only version since a lot of these kind of trucks have been used as supply trucks and troops transport. After the battle of France it was used by germany in Russia for exemple.

That's basically it for history, I mean it's a truck and it does it's job so...

I decided to make this model to go with my french planes and I'm pretty happy how it looks. It has opening doors and hatches, a spare wheel under the back, a full camoflage inspired by a picture that I found and licence plate decals. I can fit 2 figs in the cabin without any problem and that's it, I hope you like it as much as I do ^^.

I wanted to do a little annoucement by the way, I'm slowing down my uploads recently for several reasons:

- the first one is that they are becoming more and more expensive to make because of the camoflage, the vehicle size...so I can't afford making one every week right now (I'm just a student so I'm not rich ^^)

- The second one is that we are reaching the end of the year so it's the time of my exams and they are by far a priority so I don't have a lot of time left to design things

- The third one is that I'm currently doing restoration of historical stuff because even if I love legos I still prefer to learn about history (you may have noticed it) so working on real items from the past is something I've started doing and that I enjoy a lot. It also have a cost and take time so it's also linked with the 2 previous reasons.

But don't worry I'm not quitting for now, I'm just slowing things down and if I just don't post for a month this is why (I'll still try to post more than once a month ^^)
