Gustaf Adolfs torg ("Gustaf Adolf's square") is a town square located in central Gothenburg, Sweden. It was named Stortorget (the Big Square) until 1854 when a statue of the founding father of Gothenburg, king Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden was raised. Surrounding the square are the city hall, the bource, including the law court extension and the main harbour canal of Gothenburg.

Gustav II Adolf (1594–1632) led Sweden to military supremacy during the Thirty Years' War, helping to determine the political as well as the religious balance of power in Europe. His most notable military victory was the Battle of Breitenfeld. He was poised to make himself a major European leader, but was killed at the Battle of Lützen in 1632. Within only a few years of his accession, Sweden had become the largest nation in Europe after Russia and Spain.

the mind is merely thoughts,

of all thoughts the thought I is the root,

therefore the mind is only the thought I.

Whence this I arises,

seek for it within,

it then vanishes.

This is the pursuit of wisdom.

If we only judge things from the outside we risk not knowing the true beauty that may exist.

Reflections they invade your sleep

As you feel love, so deep

Swimming through your nocturnal dreams

On your waters, it now streams

Making your heart swell with pleasure

I feel your lakes ,flowing treasure

That does soak ,my excited skin

As i swim, swim within

Your lake filled with mad desire

Your lake that burns, with raging fire

Where you feel my love, search deep

In the dreams, dreams, of your sleep

“I thought I could describe a state; make a map of sorrow. Sorrow, however, turns out to be not a state but a process. It needs not a map but a history, and if I don't stop writing that history at some quite arbitrary point, there's no reason why I should ever stop. There is something new to be chronicled every day. Grief is like a long valley, a winding valley where any bend may reveal a totally new landscape.”

C.S. Lewis, A Grief Observed

Her inner voice grew stronger as she was becoming .She became weightless as she began walking above the deep blue turquoise ocean her soul lights up into the morning of light as her colours shine brightly as she transforms into a star/ the sun her inner soul as her light and colours transcends her lens became clear as her inner voice grew stronger brighter with her love of dreams her love of the creator as her freedom of expression enriched her inner world for she could see clearly as her light and colours transcends to leave the feelings of peace and harmony for freedom resides here...

I know little about the history of marbles. And I know little about who played / collected these marbles within the family. I can guess that granddaddy, who is 98 now, played with the sky blue marble in this collection. It looks to be a hand carved marble. I see the initial V in a couple of these marbles. That is our last name's initial!

After doing a bit of research, I believe this is sea glass. which is originally made by man but refined by nature to become smooth frosty beach gems! Sea glass marbles are said to come from four main sources: ship ballast, Codd bottles, playing marbles, and railroad marbles.

Sea glass is tossed on shore and tumbled till smooth by waves. It can take 7-20 years with this constant tumbling action to "become" sea glass. A quality piece of sea glass has no shiny spots, is well frosted and has smooth tactile edges

‎"From early dawn to midday to dusk to midnight, there are thousands of gradations of light and color. When we take time to look up to the blue of the sky, we feel the tranquility and peace of the open expanse of space. Colors no longer merely serve as a decorative or ornamental function. They affect us in deeper ways." - Louise L. Hay

Serenity is found not only in a guiet place,

but the place of quiet within.

~ Diane Varner

At day I ran past this tree within the Dutch heather season (soon coming up again) with my good friend and running mate and made a plan to return in the evening.

Although light pollution is material at this location, I think it turned out really well. Especially as he brought his son and kind of demonstrates how he guides his kid in life.

Many thanks for your comments, I'm curious what your thoughts are.

I'm on a little journey (short walk?) through some old files.

I wanna hide the truth

I wanna shelter you

But with the beast inside

There's nowhere we can hide

No matter what we breed

We still are made of greed

This is my kingdom come

This is my kingdom come

When you feel my heat

Look into my eyes

It's where my demons hide

It's where my demons hide

Don't get too close

It's dark inside

It's where my demons hide

It's where my demons hide

The Texas rat snake (Elaphe obsoleta lindheimeri ) is a subspecies of rat snake, a nonvenomous colubrid found in the United States, primarily within the state of Texas, but its range extends into Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma.[1] It intergrades with other subspecies of Elaphe obsoleta, so exact range boundaries are impossible to distinguish.[2] The epithet lindheimeri is to honor the German-American naturalist Ferdinand Jacob Lindheimer, who collected the first specimen in New Braunfels, Texas.[3]
