"All wisdom comes from the Lord,
and Wisdom is with him forever.
Who can count raindrops or the sand along the shore?
Who can count the days of eternity?
How high is the sky? How wide is the earth?
How deep is the ocean? How profound is Wisdom?
Can anyone find answers to these questions?
Wisdom was created before anything else;
understanding has always existed.
The source of Wisdom is the word of God on high; her ways are eternal commands."
Book of Sirach, 1:1-4

Freedom Is To You Calling
A poem by Peter S. Quinn
Freedom is to you calling,
Give life a heart so brave;
Each night hours are falling,
Into a dim hollow grave.
Hatred can be bottomless,
If you'll allow it to be;
But life is so fresh,
If it becomes all free.
Days by days will end,
But love can never so do;
Only down it will bend,
If it's not completely true.
Evening becomes a night,
Gathering shadows around;
Hold your feelings all right,
Lost can again be found.
Freedom is truth wearing,
Never a lie there inside;
Everyone else bearing,
Not from ourselves there hide.
You can grow out wisdom,
If the right seeds are sown;
For the conditions are calm,
If you acknowledge and atone.

Tarot cards. Some believe seeking counsel from tarot cards demonstrates wisdom, some say folly. I represented both views here with the high priestess and the fool (reversed).
I'm not sure if you've reached that point yet.. I think I did.
Surely wisdom of life.
Thanks for visiting.

This is my mother. She was so real warm and wise. No games, no self efficacy. Completely and absolutely in love with my dad. No points to prove, no sexist agendas just true love. When he went, she could not wait to join him. Nothing! Nothing, not me., not my sister, not my kids could stop her wanting to be with him. That is the way it should be,,,,,,,completely and total abandonment to love to the one, the only. We were in the world already, she taught me to swim and wanted me to do so. She sent me off to Canada from her death bed to get a certified qualification that I needed for my life, telling me that if she went off to papa before I returned then they would both know that i would put it to good use for others,,,,,,,,,,,,,,she did no harm, she did no damage, she loved and put others first, just wish others would,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Depiction: Wisdom
Dramatic Wisdom is a portrait depicting wisdom. This time I just make a black and white version.

Wisdom Path is a place near the Tian Tan Buddha where you can find several wooden pillars (for want of a better word) with Buddhist texts engraved on them. I've only been there once, but I absolutely love that place.
