I believe this image to have a larger narrative where the woman on the left is extending her knowledge like the overarching tree branch. After taking this image, I spent the time to introduce myself and speak to the women, as well as share my photograph with them. It was incredible to connect with strangers through art, and my first experience of this nature.

A detail of the stupa of Bodhnath. In four directions the eyes of Buddha view over the world. Those all-seeing eyes of Buddha are always open, so he can observe the world and the deeds of humanity. Buddha looks in this way to people with wisdom and compassion... Between the eyes is the third eye, the Buddhist symbol of insight. Under the eyes in place of the nose, a curly symbol in the shape of a question mark. It is the same shape as the Nepali number one, which symbolizes the unity of humanity and the path to unification with Buddha.
I almost didn't take this Monotype class yesterday. I thought I wouldn't have the time to do it, since it was nearly an all-day class. Glad I did. This is a technique where you basically get one print from a plexiglass plate. The second print (which is the left print) is a "ghost print" made after the first print (right). So, all I got were two prints after a 4 hour class (and an hour to clean up). This makes them "one of a kind" prints. I can make other similar prints, but each one would be different. The chinese characters translate to "Wisdom". This was a very different art form for me, after the rather "tight" architectural drawing I did a few days ago. Which one of these do you like!
"Golden Rules" are experiences I've had in my life. They are no absolutely rules but intentions I always remember and believe. I hope these pieces of art will please the people and ensure an expansion of consciousness. I've created my own FONT to catch the feeling of these wisdoms.
